Average Engagement Ring
The Average Selling Engagement Ring is around $3,000.
3 Grand will get you a Basic Solitaire around .57-.71 Carats. Depending on the Quality of Course! :)
But let’s Face it…
Not Everyone has $3,000. For most people, $2,000 is a Much Better Target. It’s More Manageable and a Better Price Point to Wrap your Finances around. More Comfortable, I should say.
So what Kind of Engagement Ring, Solitaire, or Wedding Set can you get for 2 Grand?
PLENTY!
This Post is Dedicated to Bridal Rings that are $2,000 or LESS!
You Don’t Need to Sacrifice Quality, like Color or Clarity either. You just need to Shop Smart and keep an Eye on Carat Weight.
Carat Weight is a Price Jumper
Especially if you are Investing in One Single Stone. That Adds Up. It can Double and Triple the Price Quickly!
Selecting Rings that have Multiple Diamonds is more Ideal… If you want to Save Some Money.

Of course, at this late date most, if not all, the rings shown will have been purchased, discontinued and replaced with other styles, or at the very least had their prices changed. Usually UP!
But I went to look at one wedding set you had posted from Reed’s Jewelers, and while it of course wasn’t there any longer, it did send me to the home page so I could make my own selections. And I did! I was amazed to find this one
Which just happens to be a full carat total weight, and on sale, marked down from $2795.00! It’s actually a stunner even at that price, but it’s been marked down A THOUSAND DOLLARS! To $1795.00! It’s a complete set – sometimes I prefer them, especially in the case of engagement rings that aren’t just a simple solitaire profile where about any band will work with them. This is one such set, where everything comes together, and there’s no worries about finding a matching wedding band for it later on.
Actually, I was kind of impressed with their selection for the “Budget Challenged” buyers. Of course the quality is going to fall down the line with the price, but in the case of so many tiny diamonds to do the sparkling, those flaws aren’t going to jump out at you like a bigger stone would allow. I wish I could post a picture of it here, but following the link will take you right to it! And many more too!
Pretty ring. Yeah, that’s the problem with doing jewelry deals and posts, all the good ones go… FAST! :)
