It’s been almost 2 1/2 years since I’ve started Jewelry Secrets (Oct. 2007), and this my friends is post number 400.
400 articles
Yes, that’s right, I’ve written 400 unique articles (over 650 pages) about jewelry, gemstones and diamonds. I’m quite proud of that fact. I have no desire to stop either.
Jewelry is what I love. Jewelry is what I do.
I enjoy training people, educating them, and entertaining them (I hope you find me entertaining).
Learning about diamonds
As you know, learning about diamonds can be a boring tedious experience. That’s why I do everything I can to make it upbeat and exciting.
I go out of my way to educate people, while still keeping it real, casual and fun at the same time.
I have a real passion and love for diamonds. I love showing them, talking about them and selling them.
Yes, technical details can get dry.
But, learning about the basics and taking a hands on approach can totally change your outlook. Plus, a little laughter never hurt anyone. It can give you a brand new perspective, an eye-opening experience.
My goals
My goal here has always been the same; to let you inside my world (as crazy as it seems). To show you what goes on behind jewelry counters all across the country and even in your own neighborhood.
You’re probably not surprised or shocked by anything that I say here. After all, things like scams, fraud and misleading terms are apparent in every type of business.
There will always be the unscrupulous few that cast a bad light on the entire industry. Jewelers are no different. Some switch diamonds. But you know what? Most of them don’t! Most jewelers pride themselves on honesty, integrity and truth. It’s just those slight few that you have to watch out for. But, if you know what to look for and what the red flag buying signals are, then you’ll come out a little wiser, a little smarter and one step ahead of the pack. It’s all about learning. Knowledge is the key.
My book
That’s why I wrote my book “Diamond Crash Course“. I wrote it to teach you what you need to know about buying a good diamond, getting a great deal and not getting ripped off.
My book is 130 pages of great facts, information and images. It can really help you the next time you’re buying a diamond or a diamond engagement ring. My Diamond Crash Course (worth every penny) can help you save hundreds, if not thousands on your next diamond purchase.
I believe in my book. It took my years to write and it took me over 20 years of experience to put it all together.
So, if you’re thinking about buying a diamond, especially a diamond engagement ring, you owe it to yourself to buy my book first. You’ll be glad you did, and your pocketbook will thank you.
