Gotta LOVE FREE!
Here’s something we all can use… Especially if you’re Buying a Ring online, or Getting Engaged…
It’s a Plastic Ring Sizer from Blue Nile…
And it’s FREE!
I got one just the other day and it really is Cool!
(and FREE!)
All you do is pop out the little Rings (Perforated Plastic), slip them on, and get your Ring Size. It’s way better than using a Printable Ring Sizer (Even though that’s FREE too – An Exclusive of Mine – And you can use it RIGHT NOW!)
But this Sizer is Ideal for Accuracy, because it feels like a Real Ring. And with Ring Sizes 3-14, you’re sure to find your Exact Finger Size.
Like I did, with their Free Ring Sizer, right here…
See, it’s PERFECT!
So grab yourself Blue Nile’s Free Ring Sizer, and then head over to their Engagement Ring Section and Buy yourself a Ring!
Now that’s BLING!
Cheers! :)
I don’t wear my rings so far back to the base of my fingers – much closer to splitting the difference between the two knuckles, about half way. So, exactly how does one go about deciding which ring size to buy? Just put the size where you expect to wear the ring?
• What about in the case of wearing several small/narrow stacking bands with your engagement ring, or a slightly “wider than usual” band for a wedding band along with a standard width engagement ring band? Like, 5mm ?
• Or comfort fit bands? ;-)
Just some questions I bet others may ask you! Is there a blog post you’ve already done that covers this information already? :-D
Hi Shari. Yes, I thought about including all of that, but Blue Nile does send you a “How to Find your Ring Size” sheet with the Blue Sizer to help one decide the proper ways to measure. Granted, it doesn’t talk about wider bands, but generally, the wider the ring, the bigger the size will need to be. Usually about 1/2 size larger! And Comfort fit bands are about the same, 1/2 size larger because of their heaviness and thickness. Thin, stackable bands usually don’t need to be larger, unless you fill up half your finger. Then it may be wise to go up 1/4 size, or even 1/2. When in doubt, drop in to see a local jeweler for a true professional fitting. :) -Richard
