Here’s something everyone should know:
Watch Batteries only go in ONE WAY!
You know, all you “Change-Your-Own-Watch-Battery” People…
(Which is Easy to Do with the Right Watch Tools)
You Pop Open your Watch Case, Rip the Battery out, Slap a New One Back in (Get them Cheap HERE), and…
The Watch Doesn’t Tick!
It just Sits there, Not Moving, Not Running… NOTHING!
That’s because you’re doing it all WRONG!
The Wrong Way!
You see, Batteries in Watches, are just like everything else that takes Batteries… They only go in ONE WAY!
(And with Some Watches it’s Face Up, others it’s Face Down)
Now it seems like a No-Brainer to just Pull that Cell out, Flip it Around, and Push it back in the Hole…
And Most of the Times it is…
Until you KILL the Watch!
Because every now and then, you can actually FRY the Mother Board. Short Circuit the Watch because the Battery was Put in Wrong.
So you have to be Careful…
Before you Absentmindedly Fling that Button Cell out, STOP…
Look at which Direction it’s Facing.
UP OR DOWN?
(Some Slots do have a + or a – Indicated inside the Opening to tell you Which way the Battery goes.)
Because the Right Way, is IDEAL!
And the Wrong Way, is a Nightmare!
An Expensive one!
Now you know!
Cheers! :)
