Guys Don't LOVE Diamonds!
Surprise Surprise!
You won't find very many Men that will admit they Love Diamonds. Probably only 2 out of 100.
It's just NOT a Guy thing to do.
Guys could take them or leave them. They aren't dazzled by the Brilliance or Sparkle of a Diamond Engagement Ring like a Woman is.
So what does a Man like about Diamonds???
One thing...
Diamond Quality!
It's NOT the beauty that attracts a Guy's attention... It's what's under the hood.
Guys are practical by nature. They have technical, nerdy minds. They love to dissect a Diamond from the top to the bottom. They like to view the Inclusions under a Microscope. They like to study the Plots and Inscriptions. They get excited by Facets and Trigons and Culet Sizes. These are the things that most Women roll their eyes at. (BORING!)
Guys are drawn in by Fluorescence and Table Percentages and Diamond Depth. It's the Geek coming out!
Women are completely the opposite (normally). Women get into the look and feel and romance of the stone. They want to get lost in the dance of light like a thousand stars in the sky. It's the inner love they feel. The beauty that warms their heart. When they look at a Diamond, they are reminded of him.
Which is funny, because most Guys could care less. They don't care how pretty the ring is. It's all about pleasing the Woman.
Quality is what Matters to Men
Men want to know things like: What are the 4 C's? What's the price for a VS2 Clarity Diamond? How does that compare to an SI1 Diamond?
You see, it's the information side of things that Men love. The tedious letters and numbers and facets and angles... Men get into that.
Guys don't actually LOVE a Diamond, but they do LOVE how Women LOVE a Diamond. Does that make sense? If she's happy, so is he!
Why is this stone $1000 more than that one? That's for the Guys to figure out.

Facts...
It's a whole different mind set.
Women love Diamonds for what they are. The Beauty and Love they represent.
Men love them for their Quality. What makes them tick!
Good or Bad, let's hope they meet somewhere in the middle. :)
