The interesting thing behind the Love Knot Pendants, Earrings and Rings (See Pictures) is that it's the brainstorm of the very well known Diamond Mining Conglomerate (and now Retailer): De Beers! (Some write it as DeBeers).
De Beers was established in 1888, so they know a thing or two about Diamonds. All the Christmas Ads you see on TV this season for the Diamond Love Knot will be created and designed (and pushed) by De Beers.
De Beers comes up with some of the most amazing products. Every year they bring out a new item and it ends up being the latest exciting craze. Jewelers love it because it helps drive sales. Customers love it because it's beautiful, elegant and NEW! Just look at some of their wonderful pieces:

This year it's not like that! To participate in the 2009-2010 Love Knot promotion, Jewelers actually have to BUY into the program.
Really! I find this very interesting because it could play a huge role in the upcoming season. It may make the items harder to get or a lot of stores may not even want to carry them???
Good or bad, the way De Beers is handling it could also produce a flock of cheap knock-offs as well! Who knows what will really happen? Keep your eyes open for this one!
