Men never think about this question, but I can't tell you how many times a Woman has asked this: "Can you wear
both Yellow Gold Jewelry and White Gold Jewelry together
at the same time?"
For some odd reason, it's been instilled in Women's heads for Centuries, that you can only wear one particular color of Metal at any given time. You can either wear White Metals like, Gold, Platinum, Stainless Steel, Palladium, Sterling Silver, Tungsten or Titanium... OR, you can wear Yellow Metals like, 10kt Yellow Gold, 14kt, 18kt, 22kt or 24kt Yellow Gold! But NOT both at once!
White and Yellow mixed together were always a no-no! I don't know why, but it always seemed so Taboo, so forbidden! Heaven forbid you get caught wearing two colors of metals, let alone, two totally different types of metals, like Gold & Steel!
But times have changed. Now a days, all it takes is one quick trip to the Jewelry Store to see that the clear cut boundaries of years gone by, have blurred, vanished, and merged to become obsolete all together!
Today, you'll have no problems in finding Jewelry made in great two-tone varieties. 14kt Yellow Gold & 14kt White Gold combinations, mixed into beautiful styles and wonderful designs.
