The Wedding Anniversary Gift List is a really interesting list. Things that you would never buy as an Anniversary Gift have somehow made it on the list.
Odd things like Textiles, Bloodstones, and Furniture! Who made this list anyway?
I did a lot of research putting this list together. It's gathered from tons of different sources (Some dating back to 1946!) and what I've found is rather crazy. I've found not only One Anniversary Gift List, but Tons and Tons of them! All Different! What? Yep! Not One single Anniversary List that I found is the same. In fact, every list I found had huge differences between them. How do you know which one is the correct one? You don't!
Why is there so much variance? Why are they inaccurate and half empty and contain duplicate Gifts? Why doesn't anyone acknowledge the 51st Anniversary? (Has no one made it that far?) (Don't worry! I acknowledged it!) Things like this bug me. It gets rather confusing. It's made me realize that even though this gathered list is huge, the biggest available on the web, it really means diddly-squat! I mean the First Anniversary has 12 Gifts listed for it! Come on! You could practically buy anything and still hit the nail on the head!
Some Anniversaries have Flowers listed, some have Gemstones, some have Traditional Anniversary Gifts along with Modern Anniversary Gifts. How many Gifts do you need? Where do you even begin?
