Just wanted to say that this site is great. I have been a Bench Jeweler for over 20 yrs. Needless to say I have spent countless hours explaining a lot of these topics to customers and employees. I can now just refer them to your site.

I agree with almost everything I have read so far. The topic on bad sizing I think says you can not size a Platinum Ring with out getting a solder line. You can size a Platinum Ring without a solder line if you use 1700 solder.

Thanks again and this site will be a must read for all employees.
