Question :
I recently lost BOTH screw backs for my Diamond Stud threaded Earings. Please can you advise where I can buy replacements in the UK? I have been trawling the internet for ages and can only find trade suppliers.

Hi Julia.
This is where it gets tricky. Because there are so many manufacturers of Earring Backs and Posts. It's almost limitless. The sad thing is, they are usually not all the same sizes, which means, that they all fit differently and most will not work with others.
The only advice I can give you is to take them into your local Jeweler. (Buying Screw Backs on the internet will be a waste of time I believe.) Take them to a Jeweler so they can try on different backs and hopefully will find ones that fit snug and are secure on your threads. Sometimes this works, other times you'll have to purchase Earrings Backs and Posts as a set and have them put all new ones on for you. Good luck in the search!
