QUESTION FROM SAMMY IN ADVANCE, NC:
I broke down and bought a pair of 14k gold earrings this Valentines day. (Just 4 days ago) I love these earrings but they are bending all up!!! I realize they must be made of soft material? I have another pair that I have had forever and have never had a problem. They are 1/2" hoop in diameter and have small gold puff hearts that dangle from the hoop. Is this normal? They were originally $115.00, they were 60% off and I had a $20.00 coupon so I only paid $21.00 for them, but still!!
What do you think, I bought them at (name withheld). Should I return them? I did not even keep the box and I am not sure if I kept the receipt because I was so happy with them. I have wore them every day since Saturday!

Return them!
If they bent within just a couple of days, what are they going to look like in a year? Earrings shouldn't bend because they don't bump into anything like a Ring does... Unless your head is really that hard! LOL They don't take a beating and should be able to stand up to normal wear and tear in the ears. $21 bucks is not worth it if you end up throwing them away.
I'm sure the store will work with you on returning them or exchanging them. Did you use your (name withheld) Card or Credit Card or a Check? They should have some way of looking these things up since it's only been a couple of days. Good luck!

Ok, I thought it was strange. I have tons of costume jewelry and no problems at all! Jeez, go try and buy something nice and see what happens. They were the only pair there that I liked. I hate to give them up now! I used our debit card, I am sure I have the receipt at home. I am not hard on jewelry at all either, I am very careful with my stuff. Thanks again!
