Most jewelers or jewelry stores don’t think about jewelry for significant others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIn fact: <\/strong><\/p>\n

They carry none.<\/h2>\n

\nGay couples, men and women, often have a difficult time shopping for rings or bands because everything in the show cases is tailored for straight couples.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diamond engagement rings for her<\/h2>\n

\nWedding bands for him<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nYou never see same sex rings<\/strong> like his and his. You never see matching wedding rings that 2 females would like either.<\/p>\n

\nAll you see are bridal sets and solitaires<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And here’s the kicker…<\/h2>\n

\nGay couples and the rest of the LGBTQ+ community<\/strong> want<\/strong> to buy commitment rings and equality rings. They want to get married like everyone else.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhat happens mostly is that they just end up picking out a band they like, and buying two of them.<\/p>\n

\nSadly, doing this in a public jewelry store often brings curious eyes<\/strong>. Even sales people tend to act awkward<\/strong> or put off, and employees in the back will peek, point and sometimes laugh. I’ve seen it happen.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s neither pleasant, nor comfortable For anyone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My question is this: WHY????<\/h2>\n

\nWhy is this?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhy haven’t any jewelers stepped up to the plate and started carrying tailored lines for gay men and women?<\/p>\n

\nIt makes no sense to me<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nGay people, people of all genders, make up a good chunk of the population<\/strong>. So why not build exclusive merchandise that shows a bold new era<\/strong> with awesome designs?<\/p>\n

\nThings that stand for equality and marriage and love and pride.<\/strong> We shouldn’t have to travel to San Francisco to see these.<\/p>\n

Jewelers are missing the boat.<\/h2>\n

\nAfter all, it’s pretty well known that gays have a lot of wealth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI think it would be very cool if some mainstream jewelers<\/strong> opened their doors for “everyone<\/strong>” and carried merchandise that gays would love too.<\/p>\n

\nThere are some jewelry stores that I found online<\/strong> that sell pride jewelry for the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender<\/strong>) community.<\/p>\n
