\nSadly, Diamonds don’t Work that way<\/strong>. You can’t Melt them, Glue them, or Compress them together. Once a Diamond gets Created, or Broken, it’s like that for Life! <\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGranted, you could always have a Broken Diamond Recut into a Newer, Smaller Diamond<\/strong>, or you could just take a Hammer and Smash<\/strong> the Rest of the Stone to Smithereens<\/strong> if you so Desire. But the Pieces and Parts that Broke off from your Stone are Pretty Useless.<\/p>\n

\nBelieve it or not, but there are some Common uses for Broken Pieces of Diamond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nManufacturers Crush up Industrial Diamonds<\/strong> (Very Low Grade Stones) for Tools.<\/p>\n

\nCrushed Diamonds can be Brazed onto Saw Blades, Dentists Drills, Bits, and the such. And Why Not? Diamond is the Hardest Natural Substance on Earth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIn the Olden Days, about 100 Years ago<\/strong>, it was actually Common for Jewelers and Designers to use Broken Diamond Pieces and Parts in their Jewelry. They were called “Chips<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n

Nowadays Chips Aren’t Used<\/h2>\n

\nOnly Full Cut<\/strong> and Single Cut Diamonds<\/a> are Used. But if you look at some Old Antique Jewelry, I’m sure you’ll see some Rough and Jagged Diamonds, some even with Sharp Edges that Point up… When Diamonds were still Cut and Polished by Hand<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nSo there are ways to Utilize Small Broken Diamonds. But if only we COULD<\/strong> make One Big Stone out of them…<\/p>\n
