\nIf a website, catalog, or flier doesn’t list the actual quality<\/strong> of the diamond…<\/p>\n

There’s a reason for that!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s probably BAD QUALITY!<\/h2>\n

\nBad, as in low color and low clarity<\/strong> (as in SI2, I1, I2, I3 clarity, and J-K-L-M color).<\/p>\n

\nFor if the diamond quality were high<\/strong>, then they’d go out of their way to tell you<\/strong> that.<\/p>\n

\n(The same is true for salespeople<\/strong>… If they don’t tell you what quality the stone is, they’re hiding something.<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\nSo if you don’t see any quality (the 4C’s<\/strong>) listed, then…<\/p>\n

ASSUME the WORST!<\/h2>\n

\nLook at these fliers and catalogs as examples<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\n\"No<\/p>\n

\n\"Diamond<\/p>\n

\n\"Diamond<\/p>\n

\nYou’ll find very little info, confusing info, or NOTHING listed<\/strong> at all about the cut, color or clarity. <\/p>\n

Nothing!<\/h2>\n

\nAll you generally see if the carat weight <\/strong>(which is still listed as “approximate<\/strong>“), and price<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nDepartment stores are guilty of this <\/strong>big time, because they usually carry nothing but low quality goods.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAnd even websites often don’t list all the info, like cut, certification<\/strong>, polish, symmetry or fluorescence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s just a guessing game.<\/h2>\n

\nSo I always say, if they don’t tell you<\/strong>, or bring it up, then they’re probably bottom of the bucket. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You do get what you pay for.<\/h2>\n

\nAnd if it’s cheap<\/strong>, then the diamonds will be cheap<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n

\nThey’ll more than likely be cloudy<\/strong>, full of inclusions, have huge black spots<\/strong>, little sparkle, and may even be chipped or cracked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proceed with caution.<\/h2>\n

\nIf you don’t see the 4C’s listed<\/strong>, you should probably think twice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nOr at least inquire <\/strong>and find out.<\/p>\n

\nIs a deal worth the risk?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you want a crappy stone?<\/h2>\n

\nOnly you can answer that.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIf it were me, I would shop at James Allen<\/strong> and buy SI1, D-E-F, Excellent Cut, 1 Carat Rounds<\/a>. Those are the ultimate stones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
