Every Year Thousands of People Buy Watches from Walmart, Target, Kohls<\/strong>… and all the other Retail\/Department Stores, because the Watches make Great Gifts<\/strong>, and are CHEAP<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\nThey Spend 10 – 20 Bucks<\/strong> on a Watch and are Happy <\/strong>with it…<\/p>\n

\nUntil they Realize that the Watch Doesn’t Fit them and they need to get it Adjusted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThey come into a Jewelry Store (Because where else can you go? The Place you Bought it at doesn’t Size Links!), and they find out that YES<\/strong>, we do Remove Links, BUT<\/strong>, if you didn’t Buy the Watch from us, we’re going to Charge you for that Link Removal Service!<\/strong><\/p>\n

And How Much Is That?<\/h2>\n

\nAt our Store we Charge 10 Bucks<\/strong>. But that will probably vary from Store to Store. Could be More<\/strong>, could be Less<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“TEN DOLLARS????”<\/h2>\n

\n…One Customer said. He got really Mad<\/strong>, because of course, he only paid 10 Bucks for the Watch<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Give Me the Damn Tools!”<\/h2>\n

\nHe said. And No, we can’t do that<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nYou could Hurt yourself<\/strong>, Stab yourself, Cut yourself… And then what? We’re Responsible??? <\/strong><\/p>\n

NOPE!<\/h2>\n

\nWhat the Customers Fail to see is that we are Trained at Removing Links<\/strong>. And every Watch is Different. They all Require Different Tools<\/a>, Pin Pushers, Pliers, Devices to get those Pins out. If is often necessary to use a 10x Head Visor<\/a> and Blocks to hold the Watch down as you work on it. <\/p>\n

\n\"Watch<\/a><\/p>\n

\nSome Watches take 2 Minutes to Operate on<\/strong>, others take 1\/2 Hour<\/strong>. You just don’t know.<\/p>\n

\nThe Tools that we use are Commercial Grade<\/strong>, High Quality and Durable<\/strong>. They are Expensive and we have to Carry tons of them just to Remove Links<\/strong> from just about any Watch Brand<\/strong> out there.<\/p>\n

Plus, Labor Costs Money!<\/h2>\n

\nFor if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll Break the Watch Link<\/strong>, Bend the Pins, Lose the Parts<\/strong> or just have no Idea how to get it all back together.<\/p>\n

It isn’t always Easy!<\/h2>\n

\nAnd you also have to consider the fact that when we’re waiting on you, who didn’t Buy your Watch from us<\/strong>, that it takes us off the floor and away from other Customers who could Buy from us, and if it’s an Expensive Engagement Ring Sale<\/a>, that’s Big Money!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSo to me, it’s always Funny to see Customer’s Reactions to all of this. <\/p>\n

\nAnd the Cheaper the Watch<\/strong>, the more Difficult it is to Work on it. The links are so Weak, they take no Pressure at all to Snap them, and then the Watch is Toast!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSo don’t be Shocked when we say “Ten Bucks!<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Really, what are your Alternatives?<\/h2>\n

\nEither have an Experienced Jeweler Remove the Links<\/strong>, or Do It Yourself!<\/strong><\/p>\n
