Got an Extra $5,000?<\/h2>\n

\nWe had a Customer in the other day, who was comparing Diamonds<\/strong> and Shopping for an Engagement Ring<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nHe had gone to Jareds<\/a>, and was looking at a 1.25 Carat, SI2 Clarity, E Color<\/strong> Round Diamond selling for $10,800<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n(Similar to this Stone<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\nHe wanted to see what we had in 1.25 Carat Diamonds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nWe had a few (Big Stones over 1.00 are not readily available<\/strong> in Stores).<\/p>\n

\nOur Stone was Lower in Color, but Higher in Clarity. Not to mention the Fact that ours was Slightly Bigger in Carat Weight<\/strong> too.<\/p>\n

Ours was a 1.28, SI1 Clarity, J Color<\/h2>\n

\nSo the Quality was Very Close<\/strong>. Jared’s Diamond was a Tolkowsky Cut<\/strong> (Supposed to be Ideal<\/strong>), but it Wasn’t Certified<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nOurs WAS Certified by GIA<\/strong>, and also had Very Good Polish and Symmetry!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nOur Stone was selling for $5,800<\/strong> (A STEAL<\/strong>)!<\/p>\n

But the Color!?!<\/h2>\n

\nThe Customer was really Stuck on the Fact that the Jared’s Diamond<\/a> was E Color<\/strong> (And I would be too – That’s my Favorite Color<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

But our Diamond LOOKED Great!<\/h2>\n

\nIt had Beautiful Sparkle and was HUGE!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Customer kept pushing E Color. He really liked that<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo I asked him point blank:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you see a $5,000 Difference?<\/h2>\n

\n(Look at these Two Diamonds as an Example<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\n\"Can<\/p>\n

\nAnd the Customer looked at the Stone, looked at me, looked back at the Stone and said:<\/p>\n

“Nope! Not Really!”<\/h2>\n

\nIt made him really Think Hard about the Price<\/strong>. Maybe their Stone does Appear Better<\/strong> (but it wouldn’t under a Microscope<\/a> or a 10x Jeweler’s Loupe<\/a>). Ours was Cleaner, theirs had Better Color<\/strong>. Theirs also had a Better Cut, but ours is GIA Certified<\/strong> (Worth Every Penny).<\/p>\n

\nAnd Side by Side, like the Two Diamonds shown above, SURE, one looks Slightly Better<\/strong> (It Should for 11 Grand<\/strong>). But the Diamonds are also Magnified at 10x<\/strong>. So you should see a Difference here. Once it’s Mounted on a Ring on your Finger, you think you’d know the Difference? Probably NOT!<\/strong><\/p>\n

But your Pocketbook WILL<\/h2>\n

\nYou’ll see a BIG Difference in the Price<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nDoes it look Better? YES!<\/strong> But does it look DOUBLE the PRICE Better?<\/strong><\/p>\n

NO!<\/h2>\n

\n$5,000 is a Lot of Green Backs!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nEspecially if you can’t see that Big of a Variance.<\/p>\n

$5,000 can Pay for the Honeymoon!!!!<\/h2>\n

\nIn the long run, you really have to Justify the Purchase<\/strong> and decide if a Rock is Worth the Money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For Him, it Wasn’t!<\/h2>\n

\nHe Bought our Stone!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n5 G’s is 5 G’s!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAnd I’d rather keep my Money in the Bank<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nOr go to Maui!<\/a><\/p>\n
