\nThe Trick is, to think about Carat Weight as Money<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nFor there\u2019s 100 Points<\/strong> in a 1.00 Carat Diamond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nWell, think of that like a Dollar Bill<\/strong> ($1.00) <\/p>\n

\nA Dollar Bill is made up of 100 Pennies<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Think of those as Points.<\/h2>\n

\nAnd that\u2019s the gist of Carat Weight<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\n1.00 Carat is 100 Points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Weight = Money!<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s as Simple as that!<\/h2>\n

\nSo 47 Points, would be .47 Carat (just 3 Pts. Shy of a Half Carat<\/strong>). <\/p>\n

\n80 Points, would be .80 Carat, and that\u2019s 5 Points bigger<\/strong> than a 3\/4 Carat Diamond (.75). <\/p>\n

\n20 Points, is .20 Carat, or 1\/5 of a Carat<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s like Two Dimes!<\/h2>\n
