\nWorking in a jewelry store has a lot of perks, I love it.<\/p>\n

\nBut working with small, highly valuable diamonds and gemstones<\/strong> also puts you at risk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nFor a lot of robberies happen at jewelers across the country<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nI’ve been though a bunch of robberies in the last 27 years<\/strong>… And one of them was really scary; masks, sledge hammers, screaming, a baby… Read the entire incident here:<\/strong> The day our jewelry store got robbed!<\/a><\/p>\n

\nAfter all, diamonds, rings, bracelets, pendants, and earrings (not to mention Rolex watches<\/strong>) are easy items to sell and pawn<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

It makes them very targetable<\/h2>\n

\nYou never know when you could get robbed. Some robberies are quiet, sneaky, behind your back<\/strong>. Others happen in the middle of the night. <\/p>\n

\nBut most are during the day, during operation hours<\/strong>. This is because insurance makes stores lock up all their diamonds and gold in a vault overnight<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nSo even during midday, when the store is packed and busy<\/strong>, a robbery could take place.<\/p>\n

Even when you’re there!<\/h2>\n

\nScary!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIf you see a bunch of people coming in with masks and guns<\/strong>, do exactly as they say. <\/p>\n

Don’t try to be the hero!<\/h2>\n

\nGive them what they want; jewelry, cash, wallets, credit cards<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

It’s just not worth it!<\/h2>\n

\nThis is why jewelry stores have locked cases<\/strong>, unbreakable glass<\/strong>, alarms <\/strong>all over the store, and high-def cameras<\/strong> in every corner…<\/p>\n

They have to!<\/h2>\n

\nBecause you never know when things like this will happen…<\/p>\n

\nTake a peek at some real robberies in progress<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nWe just hope that everybody is okay<\/strong>…<\/p>\n
