I wear an earring in my left ear<\/strong>. I’ve had one there since I was 18<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nNormally, it’s a diamond stud<\/strong> (.52, VS1, F, Hearts and Arrows<\/strong>… similar to this diamond here<\/a>). And trust me…<\/p>\n

I LOVE this Diamond!<\/h2>\n

\nIt’s a top of the line diamond and it kicks ass! I’ve never seen another diamond sparkle more<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

It Rocks!<\/h2>\n

\nIt’s also set in platinum<\/strong> (I wanted the best of the best, since I’ve worked in the industry for over 28 years<\/strong>). I deserve it! <\/p>\n

ANYWAY…<\/h2>\n

\nIt had one big problem…<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhen I’d go to sleep and lay my head upon the pillow, the earring post would stab me in the head<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe end of the post was long<\/strong> and came to a rounded point <\/strong>and it didn’t feel too hot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAnd I’m sure that this happens to many, many people. I can’t be the only one…<\/strong><\/p>\n

So the Solution?<\/h2>\n

\nTake the earrings into a jewelry store and have the jeweler shorten the post!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThey’ll actually remove the post<\/strong>, cut out a section of it, then solder it back<\/strong> to the earring so you’ll never know there was any work done on it.<\/p>\n

\nNow I can wear my earring endlessly<\/strong>, and it doesn’t bother me in the least. I don’t even know it’s there!<\/p>\n

It’s Awesome!<\/h2>\n

\nBut I do make sure to clean my diamond at least once a week<\/strong>, just to keep it sparkling like crazy. And believe me, it does!<\/strong> (So get yourself a jewelry cleaner too!<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\nAnd, if you want a diamond just like mine<\/strong>… (1\/2 carat an ear<\/strong>, is 1.00 carat<\/strong> total weight)<\/p>\n
