\nMost people do as they age, their rings get tighter<\/strong>, they need a bigger ring size…<\/p>\n

\nWell, now you CAN stretch<\/strong> that gold band and make it bigger YOURSELF<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Really you can!<\/h2>\n

\nFor they sell ring stretchers<\/a> that will effectively take your ring or wedding band up a size or two<\/strong> (which really depends on the thickness <\/strong>of your band to begin with).<\/p>\n

It’s fairly simple to do!<\/h2>\n

\nYou stick your plain band (plain works best<\/strong>, if your ring has any kind of engraving, details, designs, or stones it could ruin it!<\/strong>), onto the ring sizer, insert the steel pole and twist it<\/strong> (tighten it)… The ring stick will open up, stretching your ring in the process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It really is that easy!<\/h2>\n

\nThis is very similar to what the jewelers use<\/strong>. Gold bands work the best, for the metal is malleable<\/strong> enough to stretch. And you can normally take a ring up anywhere from 1\/2 size to a couple of sizes<\/strong> without doing any damage to the ring. Granted, you will probably have to remove the ring, flip it around so both sides of the ring get enlarged evenly<\/strong>, but it will stretch it! No doubt!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA couple other items<\/strong> that will also help this process are: Jeweler’s Mallets<\/a> (to beat your rings down<\/strong> onto the sizer to stretch them), A Steel Mandrell<\/a> (Ring Stick<\/strong> so you know what size your ring is), Finger Sizers<\/a> (So you know what size you’ll need<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
