Let’s Compare…<\/h2>\n

\nFace it, Kay Jewelers<\/strong> is a Powerhouse <\/strong>when it comes to Jewelry. They own half the Jewelry Stores<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nBut as much as people buy Engagement Rings<\/strong> from them…<\/p>\n

I always wonder WHY????<\/h2>\n

\nConvenience<\/strong>? Branding? Finance Plans?<\/strong> Guarantees???<\/p>\n

\nBecause if you actually COMPARE<\/strong> what they give you, versus what you can get elsewhere… <\/p>\n

There Is NO Comparison!<\/h2>\n

\nSo to prove this<\/strong>, I looked at an Average Selling Stone<\/strong> (Average Price for an Engagement Ring is 3 Grand<\/strong>), and found this:<\/p>\n

\n.75 Carat, I Color, I2 Clarity, Round Diamond Solitaire – $2699.99<\/a><\/p>\n

And Compared it to a James Allen Diamond:<\/h2>\n

\n.76 Carat, H Color, SI1 Clarity, Round Diamond Solitaire – $2750.00<\/a><\/p>\n

\nNow, both Diamonds are just about equal in Carat Weight<\/strong>, and the Mountings you get are both 14kt White Gold<\/strong>… And even the Prices are close, within $50<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

So is one really BETTER than the other?<\/h2>\n

\nHell Yes!<\/strong><\/p>\n

WAY Better!<\/h2>\n

\nBecause when you start looking at the Specific Quality<\/strong> of each Diamond, it’s AMAZING <\/strong>the Differences!<\/p>\n

\nSo let’s do that…<\/strong><\/p>\n

That picture says everything…<\/h2>\n

\nThe James Allen Diamond<\/strong> is .76 Carats. The one from Kays can be anywhere from .69-.82<\/strong> Carat (I would guess it would lean on the low side). <\/p>\n

\nThe Color<\/strong> of the James Allen Diamond is H (a Fine White Diamond<\/strong>). The Color of Kays is I (The low end of the Near Colorless Range<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nThe Clarity<\/strong> of James Allen’s Diamond is SI1<\/strong> (Which has Small Imperfections in the Stone, but only visible under 10x Magnification<\/a>). The Clarity of the Kays Diamond is I2<\/strong> (One of the Lowest Clarities<\/strong> on the Market, which WILL <\/strong>have Visible <\/strong>Inclusions like Black Spots<\/strong>, Clouds, Lines<\/strong>, Foggy Areas…)<\/p>\n

\nThe Cut<\/strong> of the James Allen Diamond is EXCELLENT <\/strong>(The BEST <\/strong>there is). The Cut of the Kays Diamond is not even listed<\/strong>. They only state it’s “ROUND<\/strong>“, which isn’t a Cut at all, that’s the Shape!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe James Allen Diamond ALSO lists other important things<\/strong>, like Polish and Symmetry<\/strong> (Both Excellent <\/strong>in Grade). The Kays lists nothing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe James Allen Diamond has No Fluorescence<\/strong> (which is good). Kays doesn’t state whether it does or doesn’t<\/strong> have Fluorescence. And if it does, it could really make the Diamond look Foggy or Weird<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe James Allen Diamond is Certified by GIA<\/strong> (The Best Diamond Institute<\/strong> in the World). Kays has no Certification<\/strong> (Which means, the Quality listed could really be anything).<\/p>\n

\nThe James Allen Diamond is the REAL Diamond you’ll get<\/strong>. That’s the Genuine Stone photographed at 10x Magnification<\/strong> so you can see, and spin, the entire Diamond around to view everything that’s inside the stone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Kay’s Diamond has no real Photo!<\/h2>\n
