F To G Comparison…<\/h2>\n

\nI am a big fan of Pure White Diamonds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nPure White are the Diamonds in the Color Ranges of D, E, and F<\/strong>. They are Ultra White<\/strong>, Very Bright<\/strong>, and the BEST <\/strong>that Money can Buy!<\/p>\n

BUT…<\/h2>\n

\nThey are also More Rare<\/strong>, and More Expensive <\/strong>than the Average Diamond Color<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe Average Color on the Market, is in the Near Colorless Range<\/strong>. Which are G, H, I, and J<\/strong> Colors…<\/p>\n

\n\"Diamond<\/p>\n

G-H<\/strong> is at the High End of the Near Colorless Stones and are Considered “FINE WHITE<\/strong>” Colors. <\/p>\n

\nI-J<\/strong> is at the Lower End, and sometimes exhibit an OFF COLOR<\/strong>, or even a Light Yellow Hue<\/strong> or Tint at times.<\/p>\n

So the True Question Remains…<\/h2>\n

\nF is a Pure White Diamond<\/strong>, G is a Near Colorless Diamond<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nCan you really tell the two apart???<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\"Compare<\/p>\n

(Not so easy, eh?<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\nThey fall into two different Color Categories<\/strong>, sit side by side<\/strong> on the charts, and can up the value and price by hundreds<\/strong>, if not thousands<\/strong> of dollars. <\/p>\n

So is it worth it?<\/h2>\n

\nCan you really spot the difference???<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Answer: NO!<\/h2>\n

\nNot really<\/strong>. Which can be concerning, considering the fact that I push Pure White Stones so much<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

But Hear me out…<\/h2>\n

\nWhen ever you view two ranges directly next to each other, 99% of the time<\/strong>, you won’t see a visual difference between them.<\/p>\n

\nThis can be said for any Color Range<\/strong>: D-E, G-H, L-M. As well as Clarity too:<\/strong> SI1-SI2, VVS2-VS1… <\/p>\n

Like in the Clarity Example below…<\/h2>\n

\n\"Compare<\/p>\n

If they sit next to each other, chances are, you won’t be able to spot the differences<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nFor the differences are minute<\/strong>. Slight changes that most customers would never pick up on<\/strong>. It’s even difficult for a trained expert<\/strong> to identify the difference, especially without the proper tools, lighting, or equipment<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\nThat’s why an F Colored Diamond<\/strong>, next to a G Colored Diamond<\/strong>, is really going to appear similar <\/strong>and be very difficult to tell which is which.<\/p>\n

\nYou might be able to tell, sure, or you might only be able to tell if someone were to inform you<\/strong>. But a normal person just looking at the stones, would never really know<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They’d have No Clue!<\/h2>\n

\nAnd that’s because they’re both “White<\/strong>” Stones. Pure White, Fine White, it’s still WHITE!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nMost people can’t see the variances…<\/strong><\/p>\n

And Here’s WHY:<\/h2>\n

\nDiamonds aren’t Color Grade Face Up!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n(Meaning looking straight down<\/strong> into the Stone.)<\/p>\n

NOPE!<\/h2>\n

\nThey’re actually turned upside down<\/strong>, and viewed at an angle through the Pavilion<\/strong> (Base).<\/p>\n

Like so…<\/h2>\n

\n\"How<\/p>\n

Now, what’s important to note is this;<\/strong> The eye usually can’t see a difference in side by side colors…<\/p>\n

But… They can often pick up Colors that are NOT side by side<\/strong>. As in D versus a G, or, G versus a K.<\/p>\n

\nGoing two or more steps<\/strong> between Diamond Colors is enough of a subtle difference to be noticeable<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Compare the 3 Colors Below:<\/h2>\n

That’s when you start to see the magic happen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nYou begin to spot the differences<\/strong> between a White Diamond and a Not-So-White<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

The Pure White Diamond tends to “POP”.<\/h2>\n

\nSo if you’re deciding between an F and a G<\/strong>, it’s not going to make any Real Visual Difference<\/strong>. Go for the G and Save Some Money!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBut, if you ask me about E versus G<\/strong>, well by all means, GO FOR THE E!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThere is a difference that you would see, and so would others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

E Colored Diamonds are STUNNING!<\/h2>\n

\nThe E would Shine Bright, White<\/strong>, and add Much Needed Appeal<\/strong> to any Diamond of any Quality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nFor a White Stone looks BIGGER<\/strong>, hides Defects<\/strong> more (Inclusions <\/strong>in the Stone), and of course, always looks CLEANER<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\n(Not Antiqued <\/strong>, Stained<\/strong>, Tarnished<\/strong>, or Old<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\nEspecially when she compares her Diamond<\/strong> up against her Girlfriends Diamond (and she will do this). <\/p>\n
