\nThen ask yourself a short, quick, but obvious question; “Why don’t I ever clean my watch?<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

\nPeople bring their watches in everyday for watch band adjustments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSome need links added, some shortened, but all of them have one thing in common:<\/strong><\/p>\n

They are dirty and stinky!<\/h2>\n

\nJust look at it. It’s black. Have you ever cleaned it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI don’t understand why this is one piece of jewelry that always gets neglected. Stretch the band out and look in between the links<\/strong>… You see all that gross gook fused in between the gaps and hinges and pins? It’s nasty and it stinks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nMost customers know it, too. They know that sludge has been caked in their crevices for 5 years or more. Who knows what it’s made of? I don’t want to know!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why haven’t you ever cleaned it?<\/h2>\n

\nOnce a week you should take a damp cloth and wipe it off. Just try not to get the face of the watch wet.. You don’t want any moisture getting inside the movement, because then it would rust and ruin it. But you should be able to wipe the dirt and debris from around the band.<\/p>\n

What are the stinkiest bands?<\/h2>\n

\nSpandex style watch bands<\/strong> are the WORST <\/strong>for collecting slime. They have so many moving pieces and parts that pull apart, lots of hiding spots for crud<\/strong>. Bands like these will literally leave a black stain around your wrist<\/strong>. It’s just like a disgusting tattoo<\/strong>. I’ve had some customers ask if it was because they were allergic to the watch… I really wanted to say, “No, it’s because you never clean it!<\/strong>” Just think of what your clothes would smell like if you never cleaned them. Hear me?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nLeather bands are magnets for smells as well<\/strong>. Sweats and oils from your wrist soak into the leather and carry a lot of nice little stinks. Keep them wiped down once a week and it’ll take that smell away and also preserve the life of your watch band.<\/p>\n

\nJust because you wear a cow, doesn’t mean you have to smell like one!<\/strong><\/p>\n
