Compare and Cry!<\/h2>\n

\nOkay, maybe you won’t cry<\/strong>, but you could cry at the amount of money you waste!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Really!<\/h2>\n

\nI went to Jared’s<\/a> (online), looking to compare a diamond engagement ring<\/strong>. I wanted a really nice quality… Instead I got low goods<\/strong> (almost all the diamonds online were I clarity!)<\/p>\n

\nSo I picked a 1.00 Carat Princess Cut Diamond<\/a>, and then headed over to James Allen<\/a> (online). <\/p>\n

\nI picked a diamond that was equal in price<\/strong> (including the mounting<\/strong>), and what I found, confirms one thing:<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you Don’t Compare, it’s a SCARE!<\/h2>\n

\nFor, a little bit less money<\/strong>, you can get a much better (MUCH MUCH BETTER<\/strong>) diamond, and everything about it is higher in quality, color, clarity, and characteristics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It boggles my mind!<\/h2>\n

\nSee the diamond rings below<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

That image says it all!<\/h2>\n

\nYou really can’t compare…<\/strong><\/p>\n

So let’s break it down:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jareds<\/h2>\n

\nThe diamond at Jareds looks nice<\/strong>. Sadly, that’s NOT the real diamond<\/strong> you would get. That’s a sample photo<\/strong> and what you get, could be way different than what you see<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nNow, the quality that they have listed on their website, is sparse<\/strong>. Very little info that begs more questions than it’s worth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThey have the Carat listed as 1.00<\/strong>. But, you could get one as small as 95 points<\/strong>, too. <\/p>\n

The Clarity is I2.<\/h2>\n

\nI2 is Imperfect<\/strong> and will have pretty big eye-visible inclusions<\/strong> in the stone. It could be large black spots, clouds, cracks, foggy areas<\/strong>… I2 diamonds are known for this, that’s why they are the second to the lowest clarity<\/strong> on the face of the earth.<\/p>\n

This diamond is also I color.<\/h2>\n

\nI Color is an average color<\/strong> that is pretty common<\/strong> in most stores (especially mall stores).<\/p>\n

\nThe website doesn’t list the Cut<\/strong> (and they probably couldn’t tell you even if you asked). It doesn’t list the Polish<\/strong>. It doesn’t list the Symmetry<\/strong>. And it doesn’t even say if the diamond has Fluorescence or not<\/strong> (which could be a HUGE <\/strong>visible difference in how the diamond appears).<\/p>\n

PLUS – It’s NOT Certified!<\/h2>\n

\nAll this, and it sells for $3499.99<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now… Let’s move over to James Allen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nJames Allen (who has killer diamonds and awesome prices<\/strong>), has a 1.02 Carat Princess Cut Diamond<\/a> that is sold LOOSE<\/strong>. They sell them loose for one particular reason, so you can see the actual diamond<\/strong>, close up<\/strong>, in 10x magnification<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

BEFORE YOU BUY IT!<\/h2>\n

\nThis is the REAL diamond<\/strong>, not a stock photo, and you can spin it around in 3D technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s incredible to view.<\/h2>\n

\nNow, the Clarity of this diamond is SI2<\/strong> (again, I picked this because I’m comparing PRICE<\/strong>, they have much higher quality stones than this). SI2 means that the diamond is EYE-CLEAN<\/strong>. It has no visible flaws<\/strong> to the naked eye from a top-down view. You’ll need a 10x Microscope<\/a> or a Jeweler’s Loupe<\/a> to see the imperfections (which is great<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The Color of this stone is H.<\/h2>\n

\nH Color is at the high end of the Near Colorless Range<\/strong>, and is considered a Fine White diamond<\/strong> (higher than I).<\/p>\n

This diamond has a Good Cut!<\/h2>\n

\nA Good Cut, a Very Good Symmetry<\/strong>, and a Very Good Polish<\/strong>… So it will sparkle and shine like crazy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIt also has zero (none) Fluorescence<\/strong> (it won’t look odd in natural sunlight<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nPlus, the diamond IS Certified by GIA<\/strong> (the best in the business), and…<\/p>\n

The Price is Cheaper!<\/h2>\n

\nPutting this loose princess cut diamond<\/a> into a 14kt white gold mounting<\/a> (similar to Jareds<\/strong>), the prices comes out to be:<\/p>\n

$3410.00<\/h2>\n

\nCheaper, Better, Brighter, Bigger, and the Mounting is Heavier!<\/strong><\/p>\n
