Insane Diamond!<\/h2>\n

\nIn an unprecedented find, officials at GIA (The Gemological Institute of America<\/strong>), have unveiled a particular strand of diamond inclusion, that are baffling experts and diamontologists<\/strong> around the globe. <\/p>\n

\nBelieved to have been formed inside the diamond during volcanic eruptions <\/strong>(Changbaishan <\/strong>volcanic field of more than 150 cinder cones and lava flows) that come from cave deposits and have familiar attributes that make lead scientists shake their heads<\/strong> in disbelief.<\/p>\n

\nFor the black carbon spots<\/strong> (which are commonly found in included diamonds, I1, I2 and I3<\/strong>), have similar markings to chinese letters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chinese Letters?<\/h2>\n

“Almost like writing on the wall”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Says Benjamin Higgins<\/strong> of the GIA laboratory in Carlsbad<\/strong>, California.<\/p>\n

“I’ve never seen anything like it. When aligned just right in our state of the art high powered microscopes, you can actually see symbols and letters that are very closely associated with the chinese language…”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Benjamin, a GIA certified instructor<\/strong> since 1972, also states that the markings date as far back as the stone age<\/strong>, saying:<\/p>\n

“Cave drawings might have contributed towards their unique characteristics.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Benjamin shows the diamond magnified at 20x<\/strong> to better appreciate the scope of the inclusions, as shown below…<\/p>\n

For comparison, he also shows the chinese letters they represent<\/strong> (bottom right corner).<\/p>\n

“It’s uncanny and quite frankly a phenomenon.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He goes onto say that he’s seen imperfections that resemble faces<\/strong>, or the english alphabet<\/strong> before, but never a full sentence or phrase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

GIA’s official statement is that:<\/h2>\n

“This is only the tip of the iceberg, since this new volcanic eruption has brought hundreds and thousands of similar carbon to the surface of the earth, it could literally change the way that we see inclusions.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What does this all mean to the plotting and inscriptions normally found on diamonds? It could change the way that diamonds are graded!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Which is astounding!<\/h2>\n

\nBenjamin Higgins quotes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Now diamonds can be identified by a unique phrase transcribed millions of years ago.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nFor the diamond industry, it’s mind boggling<\/strong>. Prices for such unique finds are said to skyrocket and become the fastest selling stones<\/strong> to date.<\/p>\n

\nSo don’t expect these natural diamonds to stay on the market long<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
