\nOr lay?<\/strong> For today is National Scrabble Day<\/strong>, and enthusiasts everywhere are raving. <\/p>\n

Better Dust that Game off!<\/h2>\n

\nScrabble<\/a>, if you don’t know, is a board game<\/strong> that all began in 1938 <\/strong>(can you believe that?). Two to four players score points by placing tiles (wooden or plastic<\/strong> bearing a single letter–and a score point), onto a gameboard that is divided into a 15 \u00d7 15 square grid. Lay the words in crossword style<\/strong> (as found in The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary<\/a>), and rack up the most points<\/strong> at the end of the game to win.<\/p>\n
