Double Color?<\/h2>\n

\nThis is something you don’t hear about everyday<\/strong>. In fact, you could practically go an entire lifetime and never hear the phrase “Double-Color<\/strong>” diamond.<\/p>\n

So what is Double-Color?<\/h2>\n

\nWhy is it called that?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBecause of one natural trait<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nYou see, some diamonds have strong fluorescence<\/a>, like the diamond shown below…<\/p>\n

\n\"Certified<\/a>
\nThis strong fluorescence not only allows diamonds to glow-in-the-dark<\/strong> (as shown above), but it can make the diamonds appear differently in natural light<\/strong> versus incandescent light, too. Sometimes the diamond will appear whiter, or foggy <\/strong>(see diamond in natural light above)…<\/p>\n

\nAnd often, this crazy phenomenon<\/strong> can also make the diamond do something else:<\/p>\n

Appear like two Different Colors!<\/h2>\n

\nAs you shift from one type of light to another (Incandescent Bulbs<\/strong>, Fluorescent Bulbs, Halogen Bulbs<\/strong>, LED’s, Sunlight<\/strong>…), the diamond could <\/em>change its hue<\/strong>… From bronze or yellow in one light, to green or blue in another (see image below).<\/p>\n

These diamonds are also known as Chameleon Diamonds<\/strong> for their transi-chromatic<\/strong> color shifts. <\/p>\n

\nGo from a darker room, to a lighter; step outside, view your diamond, it may change colors before your very eyes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nTo tell if your diamond has strong fluorescence, just glance at the diamond report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nOr, you could just buy yourself<\/strong> a black light (UV light)<\/a> and shine it towards your stone.<\/p>\n

It’s Cool to See!<\/h2>\n

\nThat is, unless it makes your diamond appear foggy or cloudy<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nThen, you’d really be sad<\/strong> and, well, BLUE<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n
