\nSo when I saw this huge stone selling on Etsy, for this price<\/a>… I had to write a post about it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Massive 4.39 Carats!<\/h2>\n

\nIt’s an enormous rock with top-notch quality<\/strong> (something ultra-rare in large stones).<\/p>\n

\nLet’s look at the specifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

VS1 Clarity<\/h2>\n

\nVS1 clarity means that this diamond will have some very small inclusions<\/strong> in the stone that are microscopic only<\/strong> (and even then, you have to look really, really hard).<\/p>\n

\nVS1 is excellent clarity;<\/strong> crisp, clean, with nothing visible to the bare eye (You’d have to use a Microscope<\/a> or a 10x Jeweler’s Loupe<\/a> to see them). <\/p>\n

\nVS is the clarity to own, for sure (and also my favorite clarity<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The Color is H<\/h2>\n

\nH color is at the high end of the Near Colorless<\/strong> range. It’s a fine-white diamond<\/strong> that faces up white and won’t have any visible yellow or gray hues. It’s white, bright, and simply beautiful.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cut is Excellent<\/h2>\n

\nThe most important aspect of any diamond, is the cut. And trust me, this diamond excels!<\/strong> <\/p>\n

\nThe cut is excellent<\/strong>, the polish is excellent<\/strong>, the symmetry is excellent<\/strong>, which is the best grade you can achieve. A triple excellent diamond<\/strong> is a work of art and will exhibit those awesome hearts and arrows patterns<\/strong> (as seen with a special hearts and arrows scope<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\nIt truly is impressive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Carat Weight<\/h2>\n

\nAnything over 1 carats in size is considered rare in nature<\/strong>. So this stone, weighing 4.39 carats<\/strong> is massive. HUGE-HUGE!<\/strong> It’ll fill your finger, no doubt.<\/p>\n

\nAnd it’s all set in a classic Tiffany style plain Platinum engagement ring<\/strong>, with 6 prongs<\/strong> (for extra protection).<\/p>\n

It’s about as Perfect as you can get.<\/h2>\n

\nPlus, it has zero fluorescence<\/strong> (none)… (Which I highly recommend)<\/p>\n

Certification<\/h2>\n

\nWhat I really LOVE LOVE LOVE<\/strong> about this diamond ring; the certification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nNot only is it certified by Tiffany<\/strong> (the diamond report is stamped inside the ring shank – Tiffany & Co.<\/strong>, P950<\/strong> (meaning Platinum), 4.39 CT<\/strong>, and 19975983<\/strong> – the diamond report number), but it’s also certified by GIA<\/strong> (the Gemological Institute of America)… Almost no Tiffany diamonds are GIA certified as well (I imagine they had this diamond double-certified<\/strong> because of the size and the price).<\/p>\n

\nThe GIA diamond report verifies <\/strong>everything Tiffany stated, to the T…<\/p>\n

\nAnd I would assume that even finding another Tiffany 4.39 carat diamond on the market<\/strong> would be close to impossible<\/strong>. They just don’t exist.<\/p>\n
