\nLooking for a great diamond solitaire<\/strong> for an inexpensive price?<\/p>\n

\nWell, when we’re talking about engagement rings, 2 grand is pretty inexpensive<\/strong> (the average bridal ring is $3,000<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nSo what kind of solitaire (meaning, single diamond<\/strong>), can you get for $1,999?<\/p>\n

Round diamonds, Princess cut diamonds, Marquise… All set in a plain solitaire mounting<\/strong> (called a Tiffany setting), or a Cathedral mounting<\/strong> (where the mounting is thicker and comes up on either side of the diamond to show it off and protect it).<\/p>\n

But what about Carat Weights?<\/h2>\n

\nLet’s face it, the carat weights are not going to be huge<\/strong>… It really depends on the quality of the stone and the mounting. But generally you can get a diamond anywhere from 1\/4-1\/2 carat in size<\/strong>, so it’s not too bad (and you can always upgrade later for an Anniversary<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nThe diamond rings shown above are from Helzberg<\/a>, but they aren’t the only jeweler to sell inexpensive solitaires<\/strong>. In fact, all jewelry stores do, I just used Helzberg as a example.<\/p>\n
