So it&#8217;s not even <strong>the real diamond<\/strong> you&#8217;re buying&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/All-The-Same-Stock-Diamond-Photograhs.jpg\" alt=\"All The Same Stock Diamond Photograhs\" title=\"All The Same Stock Diamond Photograhs\" width=\"640\" height=\"600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21108\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/All-The-Same-Stock-Diamond-Photograhs.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/All-The-Same-Stock-Diamond-Photograhs-300x281.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\nI saw no where on the page a place to even <strong>locate the true color or clarity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nI had to do a search for &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/track.flexlinkspro.com\/a.ashx?foid=1097690.11058365&#038;foc=1&#038;fot=9999&#038;fos=1&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fredmeyerjewelers.com%2Fforeverideal%3FINTCID%3DCategory_ForeverIdeal\">Forever Ideal<\/a>&#8221; to find the page that talked about the real specs of &#8220;<strong>Forever Ideal<\/strong>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<p>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/track.flexlinkspro.com\/a.ashx?foid=1097690.11058365&#038;foc=1&#038;fot=9999&#038;fos=1&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fredmeyerjewelers.com%2Fforeverideal%3FINTCID%3DCategory_ForeverIdeal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Fred-Meyer-Forever-Ideal-Diamonds.jpg\" alt=\"Fred Meyer Forever Ideal Diamonds\" title=\"Fred Meyer Forever Ideal Diamonds\" width=\"640\" height=\"700\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21110\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Fred-Meyer-Forever-Ideal-Diamonds.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Fred-Meyer-Forever-Ideal-Diamonds-274x300.jpg 274w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\nStill, this doesn&#8217;t tell you <strong>exactly what you&#8217;re buying<\/strong> (and for $7,500, I think you&#8217;d want to know).<\/p>\n<p>\nBut, they do give you some <strong>loose guidelines<\/strong>, so let&#8217;s look at them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><h2>Diamond Clarity<\/h2>\n<p>\nIt says that the clarity of &#8220;<strong>Forever Ideal<\/strong>&#8221; diamonds is at least <strong>SI2 minimum<\/strong>. Which leads me to believe it&#8217;s <strong>probably an SI2<\/strong>, and maybe, <em>just maybe<\/em> <strong>it could be an SI1<\/strong> (I doubt any higher).<\/p>\n<p><h2>Diamond Color<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe color of these diamonds is &#8220;<strong>Near Colorless<\/strong>&#8220;. Which is a large range (<strong>G, H, I, and J<\/strong>). Meaning yes, it could be a <strong>G diamond<\/strong>, but it also could (and more than likely) <strong>be a J<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Near-Colorless-Diamond-Color-Range.jpg\" alt=\"Near Colorless Diamond Color Range\" title=\"Near Colorless Diamond Color Range\" width=\"640\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21111\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Near-Colorless-Diamond-Color-Range.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.jewelry-secrets.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Near-Colorless-Diamond-Color-Range-300x141.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\nJ colored diamonds could appear <strong>yellowish<\/strong>. While G will look <strong>pretty white<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><h2>So which is it?<\/h2>\n<p>\n<strong>You don&#8217;t know<\/strong>. So again, I&#8217;m led to believe it&#8217;s probably the lower (it is the cheaper of the bunch). And who could really argue with that?<\/p>\n<p><h2>Diamond Carat Weight<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe carat weight of these diamonds (<strong>for a 1 carat stone<\/strong>), is actually <strong>a range<\/strong> going as low as <strong>.95<\/strong>, all the way up to <strong>1.08 carats<\/strong>.
