I Love the Watch, but…<\/h2>\n

\nHow the hell do you set the time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI recently bought myself a rubber LED wrist watch<\/a>, because I like how they feel<\/strong> on my wrist (lightweight, comfortable, flexes like a silicone ring<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\nIn fact, I bought a bunch of them<\/strong> because they came in many styles, designs, colors, thicknesses, and were dirt cheap<\/strong> (Just a few dollars <\/strong>each).<\/p>\n

The Problem is…<\/h2>\n

\nThey were all shipped from China<\/strong>, and not one single one of them came with any instruction manual<\/strong>. No booklet, no instructions <\/strong>on how to set the hours, minutes, year, month, or date.<\/p>\n

NOTHING!<\/h2>\n

\nI figured out how to set the HOUR easily<\/strong>. You just push the one and only button<\/strong> down for a couple of seconds, and the hour flashes, allowing you to then push the button a few more times until the correct HOUR appears<\/strong> (Keep an eye on the A<\/strong> and P<\/strong>, for AM<\/strong> and PM<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Easy Peasy<\/h2>\n

\nBut then, when I tried to advance to set the correct minutes<\/strong>, I couldn’t figure it out. I would push the button again, and all it would do is to keep changing the HOUR<\/strong>, which was extremely frustrating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Trial and Error<\/h2>\n

\nThrough much trial and error, literally DAYS<\/strong>, I finally got it… Once you set the correct hour<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

Hold The Button Down AGAIN!<\/h2>\n

\nWhile it’s still in function mode<\/strong>, hold the button down again for a few seconds more<\/strong>, and the blinker will advance to the minutes<\/strong>. Which you can then push the button to cycle to the right minutes. Then hold the button down again<\/strong> for a few more seconds until the blinker advances to the year<\/strong> (indicated by a Y<\/strong>). Repeat this process for the month and date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s a Secret, but it Works!<\/h2>\n

Do Note: It’s Very TOUCHY!<\/h2>\n

\nIf you push too much, or too fast<\/strong>, you’ll change the wrong time, date, etc… and might have to start all over again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIt took me a few tries<\/strong> to finally get everything set correctly.<\/p>\n

\nOnce you get all the numbers perfected, just remove your fingers<\/strong> for a few seconds and the watch will automatically quit set mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And that’s how you Set an LED Wrist Watch!<\/h2>\n
