Looking for a Cheap Diamond?<\/h2>\n

\nOkay, let me rephrase that: a low-priced, inexpensive diamond?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI mean, like around 2 grand or less?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWell, when you’re looking for large diamonds<\/strong> (and 1.00 carats are considered large), for just a couple of thousand, you’re going to have to sacrifice quality<\/strong>. Things like: color<\/strong>, symmetry, clarity<\/strong>, cut, polish<\/strong>, fluorescence, even certification<\/strong> (a.k.a. diamond report<\/strong>)…<\/p>\n

\nGenerally, bargain diamonds are SI2-I clarity (I1, I2, I3)<\/strong>. These are stones where you can visually see inclusions<\/strong> and flaws in the diamond (without the need for a jeweler’s loupe<\/a> or a microscope<\/a>). <\/p>\n

\nAnd for the most part, the color will be low as well<\/strong> (like K color or less… faint yellow stones<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

And the cut will be off likewise!<\/h2>\n

\nMost diamonds of this price range will have an average cut (graded “Good<\/strong>“) or lower (Fair, Poor<\/strong>), and possibly even grades of fluorescence: Faint, Medium, Strong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But some diamonds aren’t all that bad.<\/h2>\n

\nSome stones have decent clarity<\/strong> (SI1). Some, if you look hard enough, have a “fine white<\/strong>” color (G-H<\/strong>). And some diamonds even have “excellent<\/strong>” polish or symmetry.<\/p>\n

It’s a give or take with the 4C’s.<\/h2>\n

\nPlus, one thing that really drives the price down<\/strong> is the shape <\/strong>of the stone. Round Brilliant cut stones demand higher prices<\/strong>. But if you look into other fancy cuts, like Pear<\/strong>, Princess, Oval<\/strong>, Cushion, Marquise<\/strong>… They’ll be cheaper no matter what!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThat’s an insanely low price<\/strong> for 1 carat diamonds of ANY quality!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBut diamonds of this dollar amount will SELL FAST!<\/strong> Probably before I can even post about them… (prices were good at the time of this post<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
