\nPeople are always astounded <\/strong>when they learn that low quality diamonds are still worth thousands of dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nJust because it’s a large diamond, regardless of the other 4 c’s, it still holds its value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nGranted, 4 grand for a stone this size is dirt cheap<\/strong>, but you also lack the brilliance and beauty<\/strong> that most diamonds are known for.<\/p>\n

Diamonds over 1 carat are rare to begin with.<\/h2>\n

\nAnd bigger stones, like 1.50, are generally lower in clarity, like I1, I2, or I3<\/strong> anyway. When you get into diamonds that large, inclusions and flaws stand out more. They get noticed easier<\/strong> (without magnification). So eye-visible imperfections<\/strong> are the norm, not the exception. <\/p>\n

\nAnd when you compare this diamond in price<\/strong>, with an average quality diamond (of the same carat weight) on the market (SI1, G-H quality<\/a>), this is what you get…<\/p>\n

Nature is NOT Perfect!<\/h2>\n

\nDiamonds get filled with impurities<\/strong>, birthmarks, carbon spots<\/strong>, clouds, cracks<\/strong>, inclusions, blemishes<\/strong>… Things that help identify and classify<\/strong> stones.<\/p>\n

\nSo even an I1 clarity diamond as this, is still worth over 4 grand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
