Black spots are an eye sore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThat’s what most people think<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIf they can see them, they deem them as a “bad<\/strong>” diamond. Period!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAfter all, they do stand out in a diamond pretty darn easily<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAnd whether it be huge black spots<\/strong> (like the examples I’m going to show you), or smaller inclusions spread around the stone, once you see them<\/strong>, you will always see them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Like a magnet drawing your eyes.<\/h2>\n

\nPeople have a hard time seeing color<\/strong> (pure white and near colorless are the most popular white diamond grades), and people have difficulty observing cut<\/strong> (many think it’s just the outline<\/strong>, or the shape <\/strong>of the stone)… <\/p>\n

\nAnd yes, most people can’t see clarity either<\/strong>, unless it hits them in the face. And usually those inclusions are the gigantic black carbon spots<\/strong>. They are more noticeable than any flaw that exists. I see people trying to wipe them off<\/strong> (like it’s dirt). But it’s not on<\/em> the stone, it’s inside the diamond forever<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What’s the first thing you see?<\/h2>\n

\nThose black spots!<\/strong> <\/p>\n

\nGranted, I did spend some time really looking for extremely obvious flaws<\/strong> to prove my point, but even the smallest black spot in an engagement ring will be noticed<\/strong>, you better believe it.<\/p>\n

\nAnd when that imperfection is dead center<\/strong>, right underneath the diamond table; YOU CAN’T MISS IT!<\/strong><\/p>\n

But not all is lost…<\/h2>\n

\nBelieve it or not<\/strong>, diamonds like this do have some really great redeeming qualities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Things you wouldn’t expect:<\/h2>\n

  1. They’re cheaper<\/li>\n
  2. They’re easier to identify<\/li>\n
  3. There’s an abundance of them<\/li>\n
  4. You might be able to cover up that flaw<\/li>\n
  5. You can get a killer diamond if you get a better cut<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These are really great points…<\/h2>\n

    \nWhich is why I’m going to give you a closer look<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    1) They’re cheaper<\/h2>\n

    \nDiamonds with eye-visible flaws<\/strong> like these are much cheaper than cleaner diamonds. Sometimes by thousands of dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \n(Note that the VS1 diamond<\/strong> sold faster than I could post this… all 1 Carat, VS1+, Colorless, Excellent Diamonds<\/a> do.)<\/p>\n

    2) They’re easier to identify<\/h2>\n

    \nAll you’ll have to do is look down at your stone<\/strong>, see that black spot, and know it’s your diamond<\/strong>. It’s a sure-fire positive way to identify your diamond<\/strong> in a dash. No matter what! It’s like a fingerprint that can’t be erased. “Yep, that’s my diamond!<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

    3) There’s an abundance of them<\/h2>\n

    \nHalf<\/strong> of the diamonds in jewelry stores today are made up of I clarity diamonds<\/strong>: I1, I2, and I3. So you’ll never be at a loss of finding a bargain stone<\/strong>. Just open your eyes. You’ll see them discounted <\/strong>everywhere. <\/p>\n

    4) You might be able to cover up that flaw<\/h2>\n

    \nIf your black spot or inclusion falls to the outside of the stone<\/strong>, near the edge (or girdle), then a good jeweler might be able to position your stone and cover up most, or all of that spot with a prong<\/strong> or the mounting.<\/p>\n

    Hidden that easily!<\/h2>\n

    \nPlus, if that’s the only flaw that stands out, once covered, your diamond will now appear like a much higher clarity diamond<\/strong>. SWEET!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    5) You can get a killer diamond if you get a better cut<\/h2>\n

    \nA well cut diamond <\/strong>makes every diamond look better. The color looks better (whiter<\/strong>), the cut has more brilliance and fire<\/strong>, and the inclusions are harder to see<\/strong> (all that blinding light). <\/p>\n

    \nSo even though the clarity is low (which reduces price<\/strong>), you can offset that with a better cut<\/strong>. I recommend an “excellent<\/strong>” cut, symmetry, and polish<\/strong>. That’s the BEST <\/strong>cut you can get. It’s triple excellent<\/strong> and it will make any diamond, of any quality, sparkle like crazy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \nThe life and fire and scintillation of a diamond is enough to cover up just about any flaw <\/strong>they may have. People won’t see the black spots, only the BLING!<\/strong><\/p>\n
