This product fascinated me<\/strong> when I saw it on Amazon…<\/p>\n

\nI decided to buy it!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI have rings that don’t fit anymore<\/strong> since I lost 33 lbs wearing a Fitbit<\/a>, and I couldn’t resize them<\/strong> because of the type of metal (Stainless Steel<\/strong>), and the continuous design.<\/p>\n

\nSo it was either wear a plastic ring guard<\/a>, or try something different:<\/p>\n

The ringshrinker resin:<\/h2>\n

Here is my review:<\/h2>\n

\nThe package arrives in a black mylar bag<\/strong> (the same kind of bag used to keep film <\/strong>in when going through airport x-rays<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\n\"Ringshrinker<\/a><\/p>\n

\nThe black sealed bag protects the resin inside (meaning, when not in use seal it back up again<\/strong> or it will harden).<\/p>\n

  3. UV flashlight<\/li>\n
  4. Cleaning wipe<\/li>\n

    The steps are easy:<\/h2>\n

    \n1) Clean your ring<\/strong>. Use the cleaning wipe to remove any dirt<\/strong>, oils, fingerprints<\/strong>, lotions, debris <\/strong>from the ring.<\/p>\n

    \n(P.S.<\/strong> Pictures are taken with my new portable lightbox<\/a>)<\/p>\n

    \n2) Open the ring shrinker resin<\/strong>. Be careful since the odor is really strong<\/strong> (like glue). Wipe off the brush<\/strong> for you don’t need much, and gently apply a small dot<\/strong> to the inside of the shank (near the bottom<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

    Don’t touch the dot yet… It’s still wet!<\/h2>\n

    \n3) Cure the ring<\/strong>. Put the UV light over the resin for a good 3 minutes<\/strong>. This will harden the resin.<\/p>\n

    \n\"Cure<\/a><\/p>\n

    \nAfter 3 minutes the resin is dry enough to touch<\/strong>. And while it still felt tacky<\/strong>, it wasn’t wet. The instructions said that it is safe to wear<\/strong> and any remaining stickiness will go away<\/strong> after a short time.<\/p>\n

    They were right, it did within minutes!<\/h2>\n

    \nI tried my ring on and it still felt a tad bit loose<\/strong>. The resin felt comfortable <\/strong>on my finger (which reminded me of the gold sizing balls<\/strong> jewelers put in gold rings). I applied a second drop<\/strong> to the first one… As shown here from a side view<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

    \n\"Applying<\/a><\/p>\n

    \nAfter curing that for 3 more minutes<\/strong>, the resin hardened and the ring was good to go<\/strong>. I could apply even more resin if I really wanted a snugger fit<\/strong>, but the ring wouldn’t slip off, which was fine with me<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \nThe booklet says you can apply dots or entire areas<\/strong> like this…<\/p>\n

    \n\"Apply<\/a><\/p>\n

    \nYou can also use this on any width of ring<\/strong>, mens or ladies (2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm<\/strong>…)<\/p>\n

    \nAll in all, it worked extremely well. It dries fast<\/strong>. It was simple to apply<\/strong> (just watch out for resin drips<\/strong>, you’ll want to lay something down to protect your surfaces<\/strong>)…<\/p>\n

    Would I recommend this product?<\/h2>\n

    \nAbsolutely!<\/strong> I can now wear my ring for the first time in 3 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \nThis package also has resin remover<\/strong> (incase you don’t need the shrinkage), which I did not try<\/strong>. It says to apply the liquid to the resin, wait 20 minutes<\/strong>, then wipe off and clean. <\/p>\n

    It’s an ideal sizer!<\/h2>\n

    \nFor a few bucks<\/strong> it’s a win-win<\/strong> in my book. You can’t see the resin, it’s invisible <\/strong>when you’re wearing your ring. I really am surprised and impressed<\/strong>. And for rings that you can’t resize (like mine), or if you’re going through a drastic weight loss\/gain rollercoaster ride<\/strong>, it’s the perfect product for you.<\/p>\n

    \nA do-it-yourself sizer kit<\/strong> that saves your rings from salvage.<\/p>\n

    Just try it!<\/h2>\n

    \nYou’ll be a happy camper<\/strong> too.<\/p>\n
