\nJ color is at the bottom of a color category range called “Near Colorless<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s borderline with K color<\/strong>, which is “Faint Yellow<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

\nFor most, J color looks fine<\/strong>. It has a slight tint to it that might make the diamond face up a little yellow. Warmer<\/strong>, as some like to say.<\/p>\n

Until you compared diamonds<\/h2>\n

\nIf you put a J colored diamond<\/strong>, up against a “Colorless<\/strong>” diamond, like E<\/strong>, you’d probably see a difference in hue.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s very easy to see a difference<\/strong> (if they’re side by side). When you view diamonds face up (looking straight down<\/strong> into the stone), the facets and brilliance will mask and hide the color<\/strong>. But from a side view… It’s apparent!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBut really…<\/p>\n

Who’s going to view it from the side?<\/h2>\n

\nNot many people would. In fact, when all of her girlfriends grab her hand to see “the ring<\/strong>“, they aren’t going to yank her hand sideways… No!<\/strong> They’ll look at it face on and swoon. And even if they did tilt the ring sideways, the prongs and mounting will probably cover up and hide the color<\/strong> anyway…<\/p>\n

\nSo J color is a very affordable diamond color<\/strong> to own. You can save money even with just a few color grade differences…<\/p>\n
