I see it happen almost daily…<\/p>\n

\nPeople will shop and compare diamonds<\/strong> all over town, and then, after a week or two, they finally decide to come back and buy.<\/p>\n

\nThe only problem is:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s SOLD!<\/h2>\n

\n99% of the time<\/strong>, if you wait more than a couple of days, that diamond will probably be gone.<\/p>\n

\nI swear there’s some sort of Murphy’s Law<\/strong> going on, because it always seems that the very next person that walks in the door, will be looking for that exact same stone<\/strong> you were.<\/p>\n

\nSome people call this “fate<\/strong>“, but call it whatever you like, the fact of the matter is; you lose!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nYou’ll have to start all over again<\/strong> in your quest for the perfect diamond (and sometimes it’s heartbreaking<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

It puts you back to square one.<\/h2>\n

\nAnd it’s all because of this: Good diamonds don’t last!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGood stones, good cuts, good qualities sell ultra-fast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThey literally fly off the shelves<\/strong> (especially if they’re priced well).<\/p>\n

\nSo finding the perfect diamond for the perfect price gets tricky<\/strong>. You want to shop around, but you can’t dawdle<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nMany times I’ll try to post about a diamond deal from James Allen<\/a>, and before I have a chance to write about it, it’s gone<\/strong>. Sold. That quick<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nAnd since every single diamond is unique and different, finding a replacement is not easy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nEvery SI diamond<\/a> has their own fingerprint. Every VS stone<\/a> the same. They’re all different, the way they face up, the way they react with light<\/strong>, the way they reflect and sparkle and dance…<\/p>\n

\nSo if you have your heart set on one specific stone, one carat weight, one color, one clarity, one diamond that you just fell in love with<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

ACT! Do something about it…<\/h2>\n

\nPut some money down<\/strong> to hold it, put it in layaway. If it has a return policy<\/strong>, BUY IT!<\/strong> Because the last thing you want to hear is:<\/p>\n

“Sorry, it’s sold!”<\/h2>\n

\nIt’s frustrating for everyone, and it happens all the time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nI understand that people want to shop and compare (I highly advise it<\/strong>), but don’t take too long to decide. For a couple of weeks in the life of a diamond is like an eternity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Good diamonds sell like hot cakes<\/h2>\n

\n(the poor ugly diamonds<\/strong> stick around)<\/p>\n

\nEspecially stones like VS1, F diamonds<\/a>… They disappear in the blink of an eye<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo the idiom “you snooze, you lose<\/strong>“, is absolutely true for diamond shopping.<\/p>\n

If you don’t buy it…<\/h2>\n

\nSomeone else will!<\/strong><\/p>\n
