Finding GIA…<\/h2>\n

\nYou’d think it would be an easy task to do<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nTo find out which jewelers carry GIA certified diamonds<\/strong> (and by “certified<\/strong>” I mean diamonds graded with a GIA diamond report<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nBut many jewelers (both nationwide<\/strong> and independent<\/strong>) do not carry GIA<\/strong> for some reason. Maybe the diamond they bought was already graded? Maybe they wanted it graded faster<\/strong>? Maybe they wanted the stone graded cheaper?<\/strong> You just don’t know. <\/p>\n

\nThe fact is, there are tons of places and people (Diamontologists<\/strong>) who can grade diamonds and give a report; AGS<\/strong>, IGI, EGL<\/strong>, DCLA, HRD<\/strong>, GEMEX… <\/p>\n

\nBut since GIA is the best<\/strong>, devised the current 4C system<\/a>, and wrote the book on diamond grading, it’s wise to stick with the leaders, who uses the most advanced technology, and give the most accurate and strict reports<\/strong> possible.<\/p>\n

So how do you find these GIA sellers?<\/h2>\n

\nWell, you can check out Blue Nile<\/a> or James Allen<\/a> for starters. They are the two biggest diamond dealers online<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nOr you can head on over to GIA’s official website<\/strong> and use their online “Retailer Lookup<\/a>“.<\/p>\n
