These 7 Major Chakra Gemstones<\/strong> have been known to Heal such things as Joint, Lower Back Problems<\/strong>, Nerves, Digestion, the Heart<\/strong>, Lungs, Shoulders, Throat, our Respiratory System, Eye Conditions<\/strong>, and even our Brain<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nI could use some of that, and a little of that… and that!<\/strong> :) The Pain I have in my Lower Back is a Huge one for me. <\/p>\n

All this from 7 Gemstones?<\/h2>\n

\nSome believe in the Healing Powers so much that they Wear Chakra Gemstones<\/strong> everywhere they go, even to bed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo what are the Gemstones to Wear?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

1st Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 1st Chakra is at the Base<\/strong>, or Root of the Spine. The Gems to Wear are Garnet, Red Jasper, Ruby, Cinnabar, Bloodstone, Obsidian, Smoky Quartz, Hematite, Black Opal, Jet and even Petrified Wood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe Most Common and Most Inexpensive of these Gemstones to Wear is probably Garnet<\/strong>. Garnet has wonderful hues of Red\/Orange\/Brown, sort of like Fine Wine.<\/p>\n

\nThat’s the Stone that I would Recommend!<\/strong><\/p>\n

2nd Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nFor the 2nd Chakra, which is below the Navel<\/strong>, called the Sacral Layer, the Stones and Minerals to Wear are Carnelian, Coral, Amber, Copper, Moonstone, Pearl and Orange Sapphire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nPersonally, I love Orange Sapphire. They may be a little bit more difficult to find, and stores may have to order them in<\/strong> for you, but the Color, Durability and the fact that they will then Match the Faceting of the other Gemstones is Priceless. I highly recommend it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3rd Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 3rd Chakra is for the Solar Plexus<\/strong>, the Base of the Rib Cage. The Gems to Wear are Citrine, Amber<\/strong>, Yellow Topaz, Tiger’s Eye, Ametrine <\/strong>and Yellow Jasper.<\/p>\n

\nCitrine and Yellow Topaz are probably the two Most Common Stones<\/strong> to find and Purchase for the 3rd Chakra.<\/p>\n

4th Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 4th Chakra is for the Heart<\/strong>, just behind the Heart actually. The Gems to use are Malachite, Green Tourmaline<\/strong>, Emerald, Jade and Peridot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nI would Recommend Green Tourmaline, Emerald or Peridot for this Stone. They are Easier to locate and come in a Wide Range of Green Hues, even though Emerald will be the most Expensive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5th Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 5th Chakra is for the Throat<\/strong>, located behind the Throat. The Main Gems are Turquoise, Aquamarine<\/strong>, Blue Chalcedany, Blue Quartz, Blue Opal and Angelite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAquamarine is probably your Best Bet<\/strong>. That, or a light Blue Topaz will give you the same appearance.<\/p>\n

6th Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 6th Chakra is the Third Eye<\/strong>, and lies an inch above your Brow. The Gemstones that work the Best are Lapis Lazuli<\/strong>, Blue Sapphire, Star Sapphire, Tanzanite <\/strong>and Rutile.<\/p>\n

\nI would certainly recommend Blue Sapphire<\/strong> if you can swing the price. They are Beautiful, Precious and Very Durable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7th Chakra<\/h2>\n

\nThe 7th Chakra is located at your Crown, or the top of our Heads for our Thoughts. The Gems Associated with the Crown Chakra are Diamond<\/strong>, Amethyst, Alexandrite<\/strong>, Quartz Crystal, and White Calcite.<\/p>\n

\nI would opt for Amethyst or Alexandrite. Amethyst is Cheap and Abundant<\/strong>. Alexandrite is Rare and Expensive and you’d be hard pressed to find a Genuine Stone anywhere. Most stores can only get Created Alexandrites<\/strong> and I don’t think using a Lab Created Stone will give you the same Results!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Master Crystal<\/h2>\n

\nYou can also add in an 8th Gemstone if you want. These are called Master Crystals<\/strong> and tie everything together. The Stone for the Master Crystal is usually a Clear Quartz Crystal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nFor me, I tend to stick with these Main 7 Stones when making Chakra Jewelry:<\/strong> Garnet, Orange Sapphire, Yellow Topaz, Peridot, Aquamarine, Blue Sapphire, and Amethyst. Their color combinations work really well together, and they look Great side by side in Pendants or Rings as shown below with the other Gemstones…<\/p>\n

\nNow for the Fun Part…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Making your Chakra Jewelry<\/h2>\n

\nGo into any Jewelry Store and start looking at different Pendants or Rings. You want to find a Mounting that will hold 7 Gemstones<\/strong>, or one that they can Alter to Add 7 to. You can also talk to them about Custom Designing a Piece for you that holds 7 Stones, or you can look in Catalogs at all the Different Vendors Merchandise.<\/p>\n

\nKeep in mind, the Size, Shape, Price and Style of Gemstones or Mounting will Vary Greatly. It’s Endless the Possibilities you can come up with<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nChannel Set Mountings or Rings also work Great, but personally, I would Recommend a Pendant<\/strong> just because it Centers <\/strong>all the Stones on your Body and lays them in the Correct Order<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n

\nA Smooth or Prong Set Pendant works Best!<\/strong> But there are plenty of Great Designs to choose from. You just have to get Creative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

14k White Gold<\/h2>\n

\nI also Recommend using 14k White Gold as the Metal of Choice<\/strong>. White Gold tends to Highlight the Stones and makes their Colors “POP<\/strong>” in the Mounting.<\/p>\n

Do what’s right for you<\/h2>\n

\nIf you want to Highlight Certain Charkas<\/strong>, say you have Asthma and want a Bigger Peridot <\/strong>for that, make the Peridot the center of Interest and Larger than the other Stones.<\/p>\n

\nThere is no Right or Wrong Way to do this. It’s all in what you feel<\/strong>. You can Highlight just a Couple of Stones if you want. Nothing says you have to use all 7 in your Piece of Jewelry.<\/p>\n
