It has small imperfections in the diamond that are <strong>barely noticeable under magnification<\/strong> (just enough to easily identify them).<\/p>\n<p><h2>E Color:<\/h2>\n<p>\n<strong>I LOVE E color diamonds<\/strong>. E color is pure-white. <strong>A very bright white<\/strong> diamond that looks magnificent. So crisp, so light, so outstanding. Compare an E to any <strong>near-colorless diamond<\/strong> (like H-I-J) and you will instantly see the difference.<\/p>\n<p><h2>Astor Ideal Cut:<\/h2>\n<p>\nAstor Ideal is the best cut Blue Nile sells (and one of <strong>the best in the entire world<\/strong>). It&#8217;s true <strong>hearts and arrows<\/strong>, the cream of the crop. With excellent grades in <strong>cut, polish, and symmetry<\/strong>, this diamond will sparkle like no other diamond you&#8217;ve ever seen. Cut is the most important aspect of any of the 4C&#8217;s, and once you see a <strong>perfectly cut diamond<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll never want anything else. <strong>It&#8217;s that incredible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><h2>No Fluorescence:<\/h2>\n<p>\nFluorescence, in some cases, can make a diamond look <strong>odd, hazy, or even foggy<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a natural phenomenon that reacts with light differently. So I always advise to <strong>pass on fluorescence<\/strong>. Look for &#8220;<strong>none<\/strong>&#8221; on the diamond report.<strong> Just to be safe&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><h2>GIA certified:<\/h2>\n<p>\nNot only is this diamond graded by the biggest and the best; <strong>GIA<\/strong>, but it&#8217;s also Astor Ideal graded by <strong>GemEX<\/strong> (which grades the actual light interaction).<\/p>\n<p><h2>Lastly, the price:<\/h2>\n<p>\nFor a diamond that&#8217;s huge, over 1 carat (<strong>1.01 ct<\/strong>), it&#8217;s a little bit pricier than most 1 carat diamonds. But this is because of the cut, VS2 clarity, and E color, all rolled into one. It pushes the value up. Diamonds of this magnitude are very rare. Hence, <strong>very expensive<\/strong>. But to spend an extra grand on a diamond that will <strong>knock your socks off<\/strong>, is worth every penny. Put this diamond side by side with a standard diamond (which sells anywhere from <strong>$6,000 &#8211; $8,000<\/strong> on average), and you will see <strong>a massive difference in appearance and sparkle<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>\nThis is what makes this diamond <strong>the perfect diamond<\/strong>.
