It’s amazing how often this happens…<\/p>\n

\nSure he’s nervous<\/strong>, who wouldn’t be? His hands are sweaty, shaking, he gets down on one knee<\/strong>, all eyes are on him (and video cameras)… She’s excited, she cries, gasps, reaches out, there’s fumbling<\/strong>, and bam:<\/p>\n

Down goes the ring.<\/h2>\n

\nNow he’s searching for it<\/strong> (and hoping it didn’t get dented or scratched), and the whole moment is ruined<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But it could be worse.<\/h2>\n

\nFor many guys propose over precarious surfaces;<\/strong> like water<\/strong>, on a scenic overlook, a bridge<\/strong>, a boat, a drain pipe<\/strong>, skydiving, bungee jumping<\/strong>, swimming with sharks, on the pier<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nAnd then if he drops the ring, it’s a goner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo whatever you do, whether you ask for her hand in marriage (and even during the wedding ceremony<\/strong>, as you’ll see below) on a cruise ship<\/strong>, an alligator pit, quicksand<\/strong>… Be leery of your surroundings and obstacles around you.
