A size? A carat weight? Or does it have to do with proportions or shape?<\/p>\n<p><h2>Actually YES!<\/h2>\n<p>\n<strong>It&#8217;s all of the above<\/strong>. In fact, a GIA diamond <strong>can be any diamond<\/strong>, regardless of weight, shape, color, clarity or cut. <\/p>\n<p>\nEvery single diamond (<strong>with a few exceptions<\/strong>), can be a GIA diamond.<\/p>\n<p>\nA GIA diamond means that <strong>the diamond is graded by GIA<\/strong> (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gia.edu\/\">The Gemological Institute of America<\/a>)&#8230; <strong>Not to be confused with IGI or AGS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nThat&#8217;s all it really means. GIA <strong>doesn&#8217;t buy diamonds<\/strong>, they <strong>don&#8217;t sell diamonds<\/strong>, all they do is grade them. <strong>Period<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nGIA actually came up with <strong>the current 4C&#8217;s system<\/strong> that all of the country uses. It&#8217;s like night and day. What this all means is that you have to <strong>proceed with caution<\/strong> when buying a diamond that isn&#8217;t graded by GIA. What you get could be true, or it could be miles apart. <strong>Are you willing to risk the chance, and the money?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nGIA has the most <strong>technically advanced<\/strong> diamond grading system in the world. They are <strong>highly strict<\/strong>, and have <strong>triple redundancy<\/strong> when it comes to reporting (meaning, it&#8217;s not just one person&#8217;s opinion, <strong>it&#8217;s three<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><h2>GIA is the company to trust<\/h2>\n<p>\nIf a diamond comes with a GIA diamond report, then you&#8217;ll have <strong>peace of mind and security<\/strong>.
