\nI am constantly blown away with how cheap 1 carat diamonds<\/strong> are now…<\/p>\n

\nYears ago, the cheapest 1 carat was $2,000<\/strong>, and that was the worst quality known to man<\/strong>; I3 clarity (with huge flaws that looked horrible), and a noticeably yellow hue (like M color). They looked like a chunk of salt<\/strong>. Not very pretty at all…<\/p>\n

\nBut that’s what you got for 2 grand.<\/p>\n

Until now…<\/h2>\n

\nYou can get almost the opposite<\/strong>. It’s amazing.Like this particular emerald cut diamond… it’s a 1 carat<\/a> (right on the dot), with a VS2 clarity<\/strong>. VS2 has very tiny imperfections that are even hard to locate under a microscope. Very clean, very beautiful<\/strong> (as you’ll see in the image below, the flaws are just tiny dots<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nThis diamond also has a J color<\/strong> (which is considered a ‘white<\/strong>‘ diamond). It looks great with no visible color of yellow to the eyes. This emerald cut faces up magnificent (I’m sure that has to do with the step cutting and facets<\/strong>, it helps mask color).<\/p>\n

And it’s just $1,757.<\/h2>\n
