\nI always make sure to comment on people’s jewelry. I notice them<\/strong> (this goes hand in hand with my job. It also helps get me over the “I’m just looking<\/strong>” obstacle). It makes people happy, warm, reflect… (I am discreet though, I don’t want people thinking I’m eyeing their big 3 carat diamond ring<\/strong>… That puts people in panic mode.)<\/p>\n

\n“Did you custom design your band, it’s so beautiful<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

\nThere is always something to be noted about jewelry. Something that can be brought up… Even if the item is ugly (it’s obviously not ugly to them<\/strong>). “Your pendant can be worn with any outfit, there are so many colors in it<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Jewelry is a journey.<\/h2>\n

\nEvery item, every piece, has purpose and meaning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n“I bought this ring for myself last Christmas. My husband never buys me the right thing! Now he just hands me his credit card…<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

\n“This Cameo used to be my grandmother’s, she passed away last fall. I never take it off, it makes me feel close to her<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

\nSo the next time you’re at a party<\/strong>, a dinner<\/strong>, an outing<\/strong>, a dance<\/strong>, charity event<\/strong>… Break down barriers, comment on people’s jewelry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
