Story time;<\/strong> my experience with wallets…<\/p>\n

\nI admit, I used to have a fat tri-fold wallet<\/strong> that I carried in my back pocket.<\/p>\n

\nIt was filled with everything; credit cards, store cards, address book (way before the smart phone<\/strong>), social security card, insurance papers, registration, college ID…<\/p>\n

\nI did that for 15 years<\/strong> (only lost it once and was lucky enough to have someone call me who found my wallet).<\/p>\n

\nThe only time I didn’t use a fat wallet, was when I went on vacation<\/strong>. Then I would only carry my ID, passport<\/strong>, credit card, and cash in a hidden wallet<\/strong> that I clipped to my belt loop and slid into my pants (like this wallet here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\nNeedless to say, a fat wallet wasn’t really necessary. It actually did more harm then good<\/strong>. For sitting on an inch thick wallet actually makes your hips uneven<\/strong>, and gives you tailbone or back and spine problems.<\/p>\n

Once I learned that, I changed my habits.<\/h2>\n

\nI downsized to a slim wallet (also known as a minimalist wallet<\/strong>), only carrying a few cards, papers, nothing else. It took my wallet down to a pancake <\/strong>and I no longer felt like I was sitting on a brick.<\/p>\n

\nThen I took it one step further, I moved it to my front pants pocket<\/strong>. It felt more secure up front, and I didn’t have to worry about being pick-pocketed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThat’s why I recommend slim front pocket wallets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThey feel better<\/strong>, look better, are safer<\/strong>, and won’t mess up your back.<\/p>\n

\nAnd of course, the RFID wallets<\/a> are the best. Those have protection against all sorts of digital theft attempts (credit card scanning<\/strong>). So get those if you can<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
