Diamond earrings are a very unique piece of jewelry<\/strong> for one specific reason:<\/p>\n

\nPeople don’t get close enough<\/strong> to see them.<\/p>\n

\nEverything else that you own; rings, bracelets, pendants, watches, people will lean in<\/strong> and really inspect them. They’ll get so close that they can see every detail; inclusions<\/strong>, black spots, cracks<\/strong>, flaws…<\/p>\n

But not on earrings.<\/h2>\n

\nNo one grabs your earlobe and tugs<\/strong> to get their eye an inch away (can you imagine?<\/strong>) So this leads to a very good eye-opener…<\/p>\n

\nThe diamonds don’t need to be so clean (meaning, high clarity<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nAnd, since most diamonds look the same from a distance<\/strong> anyway; you can’t tell if they’re flawless, or included.<\/p>\n

\nSo with earrings, clarity is not a big issue<\/strong> (unlike an engagement ring).<\/p>\n

\nThis is why 95% of all diamond studs are I clarity<\/strong>. I clarity means included. They have eye-visible flaws<\/strong> that you can see with your own eyes (no need for a microscope<\/a> or a 10x jeweler’s loupe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nI clarity is made up of 3 different clarity grades:<\/strong> I1, I2, and I3. I would only recommend I1<\/strong>, for these are borderline SI clarity diamonds, and will face up much cleaner<\/strong> and brighter.<\/p>\n

Sure, up close, you may see some flaws or carbon<\/strong> in I1 clarity, but on your ears, they’ll look great, have sparkle, and come at a much lower price tag<\/strong> then higher quality diamonds.<\/p>\n

Visually, there really isn’t that much difference between them. But it will save you hundreds of dollars<\/strong> depending on the carat weight you choose (also keep in mind, 1 carat diamond studs are a half carat apiece<\/strong>, totaling one full carat). <\/p>\n

\nThe best way to shop for these studs, is to make your own<\/strong>. Pick the diamonds you want (I recommend white diamonds<\/strong>, I1 or better), and enjoy the brilliance and savings.<\/p>\n
