\nIt’s time to dress up, look festive<\/strong>, and wear all your beautiful jewelry.<\/p>\n

\nSo before the guests arrive<\/strong>, the family, the in-laws (and outlaws), before the meal is served<\/strong>, the first thing you should do:<\/p>\n

Clean your jewelry!<\/h2>\n

\nFor nothing ruins a holiday attire<\/strong> quicker than dirty diamonds or gemstones. They look dull, lifeless<\/strong>, and are not the proper way to represent the sparkle they deserve.<\/p>\n

\nSo before the doorbell rings<\/strong>, grab your ultrasonic cleaner<\/a> and toss your diamond jewelry in. Add hot water (not boiling… coffee hot) and a dash of Ammonia<\/strong>, or Mr. Clean, and in just a couple of minutes your items will be good to go.<\/p>\n

\nUse a small scrub brush<\/strong> (or old toothbrush) to gently dab underneath the stones<\/strong> where debris builds up the most.<\/p>\n

\nIf you don’t have an ultrasonic cleaner<\/a>, then fill a bowl with hot water and Ammonia and let your rings, earrings, and pendants soak for a bit<\/strong>. Then use the toothbrush to scrub gently (you don’t want to harm the metals). Rinse them off in another bowl of clean hot water<\/strong> (holding them under the tap, right above the drain is risky business and I DON’T recommend it<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nYou can also use a polishing cloth<\/a> to gently remove some slight scratches on the gold or silver, and maybe a dazzle stick<\/a> for the diamonds…<\/p>\n

\nThe point is, make them dance in the light and catch all eyes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nIt only takes a minute to brighten up your jewelry, which also brightens up yourself<\/strong>. Clean jewelry looks good, and makes you feel good<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n

\nSo before the guests arrive, bring your diamonds and gems back to life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Clean them.<\/h2>\n

\nYou’ll be ready for the holidays and the wonderful compliments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
