This is actually pretty amazing…<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHow a 3 carat diamond<\/strong> can really be CHEAPER <\/strong>than a 1 carat<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\nHard to believe, but it’s true. Granted, there is a difference in quality<\/strong>, but still, that’s a huge difference in looks, especially in an engagement ring.<\/p>\n

3 carats are massive!<\/h2>\n

\nBut what’s even better, is comparing the two diamonds side by side. For the most part, even though the quality is miles apart, they really don’t look that different to the eye<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nSure you can see inclusions<\/strong> in the 3 carat, but other than that, does it really look that bad? No!<\/strong> It’s not a bad looking stone.<\/p>\n

So let’s break it down…<\/h2>\n

\nThe 3 carat has I1 clarity<\/strong>. Meaning, it does have eye-visible flaws<\/strong> in the stone that you can see without magnification. But the really great thing about this diamond, is the fact that those imperfections are white inclusions<\/strong> versus black carbon spots. So they’ll blend in with the diamond’s facets <\/strong>better and be hidden.<\/p>\n

\nThe 1 carat diamond has IF clarity<\/strong>, meaning it’s internally flawless. So to the eye, and even under a microscope you’ll see zero flaws<\/strong> or inclusions at all. Nothing! It’s totally clean inside<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe 3 carat diamond has K color<\/strong>. K color has a tint of yellow hue to it. So the entire body of the stone may appear to have a yellowish shade<\/strong> to it (some people like this warmer hue, which can also be hidden if you put the K color diamond into a yellow gold mounting<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nThe 1 carat diamond has E color<\/strong>, meaning it’s pure white, one of the best colors of diamond to buy. It will appear bright, white, and pop with light<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe 3 carat diamond does have an excellent cut<\/strong>, which helps mask the flaws and color. It also has very good polish and symmetry. These also help hide any imperfections that could be noticeable.<\/p>\n

\nThe 1 carat diamond has excellent cut<\/strong>, as well as excellent polish and symmetry<\/strong>. It’s the best you can buy, and it will give you those lovely hearts and arrows patterns<\/strong> as seen with a special hearts and arrows jeweler’s loupe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThe 3 carat diamond has faint fluorescence<\/strong>, which usually will not alter much how the diamond appears in natural light. Faint fluorescence is harder to see (if you can see it at all, unlike strong fluorescence<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nThe 1 carat diamond has zero (or none) fluorescence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo while the 3 carat has flaws, is a little off color, and has a slightly less cut and fluorescence, it’s one heck of a deal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nTo be able to get any 3 carat diamond that doesn’t look dark or lifeless, full of black spots, or having a bad make, for this price, cheaper than a 1 carat<\/strong>, is a really good deal, and a huge diamond for your ring.<\/p>\n
