\nFlawless Diamonds (FL) are the best and cleanest diamonds<\/strong> on Earth.<\/p>\n

\nThis means there are no flaws<\/strong> inside the diamond at all under ten powered (10x) magnification<\/strong>. It\u2019s perfectly clean.<\/p>\n

Flawless is rare and quite expensive.<\/h2>\n

\nCheck out the prices below of both Earth-made diamonds<\/strong> and lab-grown diamonds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\"Flawless<\/p>\n

\nLab-grown is much cheaper for a similar quality stone, but when compared to other 1 carat diamonds, it’s much higher in price<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nNow, you could certainly buy these stunning, jaw-dropping diamonds<\/strong> if you desire, after all they are the best of the best. <\/p>\n

\nBut there is actually one very good reason not to<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

FLAWS!<\/h2>\n

\nFlaws, which are inclusions and blemishes<\/strong>, are identifying marks on, or outside of a diamond. Sort of like a fingerprint <\/strong>on a person. <\/p>\n

\nEach and every diamond is different. And these flaws will never change. They will never grow, shrink, diminish, fade, shift or move ever. They have looked like that forever<\/strong>, and will look like that forever more.<\/p>\n

Flaws are the best way to recognize your diamond.<\/h2>\n

\nYou can look at your stone under a microscope<\/a>, see your flaws, and know that that diamond is yours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nYou can also verify these flaws<\/strong> with your diamond plot<\/strong>, which resides on most diamond reports, as so:<\/p>\n

\n\"Viewing<\/p>\n

\nYou can locate and find your unique flaws and traits and know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the diamond you bought is still in your possession.<\/p>\n

\nAlso, meaning, that a jeweler didn\u2019t swap out your stone and steal it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAll diamonds have flaws that you can confirm and view under magnification<\/strong>. Every diamond, except for flawless and internally flawless (IF) diamonds that is. <\/p>\n

\nFlawless stones don\u2019t have any marks, like lines, clouds, feathers, black spots, cracks, nothing, no way to pinpoint any source of reference or characteristic<\/strong> on a perfectly clean diamond.<\/p>\n

\nIn fact, you could put a flawless diamond up against a cheap CZ knock-off<\/strong>, and they would actually look the same.<\/p>\n

\nGranted, you may not be able to to to tell if a flawless diamond has been swapped out, but there is one other identifying way to check.<\/p>\n

INSCRIPTIONS!<\/h2>\n

\nIf your diamond is laser inscribed<\/strong>, you can look at that tiny etching on the outside of your girdle<\/strong>, under 10x magnification (or higher), and match up your certificate numbers<\/strong> to the actual numbers on your diamond report. Like so:<\/p>\n

\nSo you may not be able to tell from the flaws in a flawless diamond, but if you\u2019re lucky and bought a laser inscribed diamond<\/strong>, then you still have proof<\/strong> that you got your diamond back. Because no one wants their diamond to be switched. <\/p>\n

\nSo when you drop your diamond off at the jeweler for a repair<\/strong>, sizing, or cleaning<\/strong>, view your diamond before you hand it over<\/strong> (use their microscope so they can see too), and when they finish and you pick your diamond back up, view it again<\/strong> (still in the store), just to be sure and safe. <\/p>\n

\nSo my recommendation is<\/strong>, either by a diamond that has flaws (like SI1, VS2<\/a>) that you can identify<\/strong>, or buy a flawless diamond<\/a> that\u2019s laser inscribed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAnd while you\u2019re at it, buy yourself a 10x jewelers loupe<\/a> so you can memorize and view your flaws<\/strong> anytime you want.<\/p>\n

\nThese are the best two ways to protect yourself<\/strong>, your diamond, and your pocketbook.<\/p>\n
