We are always rushing around, doing errands, picking up laundry, groceries, going to soccer practice, fixing dinner, <strong>reading posts&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nWe tend to forget some of the little things in life, <strong>like:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dentist&#8217;s appointments<\/li>\n<li>Filing our taxes<\/li>\n<li>Oil changes<\/li>\n<li>Jewelry inspections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nActually, those things <strong>aren&#8217;t so little are they?<\/strong> They can cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars if you <strong>fail to follow through<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nSo today, I&#8217;m here to remind you. <strong>Today, I&#8217;m here to say:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><h2>STOP!<\/h2>\n<p>\nPut down what you&#8217;re doing. Gather up your rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants, and <strong>make your way to the jewelry store<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>It&#8217;s jewelry cleaning and inspection day<\/strong> (not official &#8211; but it should be).<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Your jewelry needs some TLC<\/strong>. They need maintenance just like a car does. A regular inspection and a tune-up a couple of times a year can keep your prongs tight, your gold shiny and your diamonds from falling out of the mounting.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>It can save you a lot of money.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><h2>Preventive medicine:<\/h2>\n<p>\nNow some of us do take our rings in for inspection. Some people are really good at this and even mark it on the calendar. <strong>I applaud you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nFor others, it&#8217;s out of sight out of mind. Unless a prong gets snagged on a sweater and bent back some people never notice their rings until the damage is already done. This is sad. Especially when all they had to do is swing into a jeweler for <strong>5 minutes to get it cleaned and inspected<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt really doesn&#8217;t take long at all. We check your prongs for<strong> wear and tear<\/strong>. We make sure they aren&#8217;t <strong>broken, cracked or bent<\/strong>. We make sure your stones are <strong>tight<\/strong>. We give the gold or platinum a <strong>polish<\/strong>. We stick them in the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2X6BmAq\">ultrasonic cleaner<\/a> and they&#8217;re done. Your jewelry looks brand new again. <strong>Easy as that.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nSome people do this on a regular basis. Some people have to; <strong>their diamond warranties<\/strong> (from corporate jewelry stores) <strong>force them<\/strong> to bring their jewelry in twice a year for cleanings and inspections. These warranties are a pain, because if you miss 1 single visit, <strong>it can void your warranty<\/strong>. So whatever you do&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><h2>Don&#8217;t miss that visit.<\/h2>\n<p>\nChain stores are good for giving out <strong>great diamond warranties<\/strong>, but they are also good for voiding them. <strong>Be warned. <\/strong>Don&#8217;t let it happen to you. Get your rings cleaned and inspected on time.<\/p>\n<p><h2>Cleanings are free:<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe good thing is, <strong>it doesn&#8217;t cost a penny<\/strong> to have your jewelry inspected. It&#8217;s free. Just a couple of minutes of your time is all you have to do. Bring them in. We&#8217;ll give them a once over just to be sure everything is okay and you&#8217;re good to go. <strong>Don&#8217;t put it off any longer<\/strong>. Cleaning them makes your jewelry look like a million bucks and it keeps your diamonds safe and secure.<\/p>\n<p><h2>Peace of mind:<\/h2>\n<p>\nInspections give us peace of mind. With as much <strong>abuse as jewelry gets<\/strong>, I&#8217;m surprised it holds up as well as it does. 2 visits a year may not be enough. That&#8217;s why I always recommend <strong>visiting a jeweler at least 3 times a year<\/strong> or more. It doesn&#8217;t hurt to have them checked more <strong>frequently<\/strong>. Anytime you&#8217;re at the jeweler, let them check your items. Anytime you bump or hit your rings or prongs, bring them in. <strong>Better safe than sorry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><h2>What are you waiting for?<\/h2>\n<p>\n<strong>Get up!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Right now!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nGet moving and take your jewelry to the jeweler today. Have them <strong>cleaned and inspected and polished<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nAre your stones tight?
